You can have a million pieces, and not one of them can give you one ounce of peace.
Let's not confuse peace with happiness. Happiness is a wonderful thing but it has it's plateaus and it's valley's depending on the moment.
But peace is an everlasting commitment to maintaining your mind, and not allowing your circumstances to drive you out of it. Peace is living assured that your best efforts, and good works have not been and will not be in vain. Peace is knowing that no matter what slangs and arrows of outrageous misfortune seem to come your way, peace is knowing that your are safe in the hands of the father.
Having peace is not tangible. You can't touch it, hold it or see it. Pieces satisfiy our senses. But sensory satisfaction is temporary. Peace is more precious than a million pieces, and more valuable than anything that money can buy.
