Unarmed White Man Shot & Killed By Police

On August 11th, just 2 days after the shooting of Mike Brown, Officer Bron Cruz shot and killed  20 year old, Dillon Taylor in Salt Lake City, Utah. Taylor was not only unharmed but he is also white! Surprised?! I was when I first heard this story. I have never heard of a case where a white man was shot and killed by police for no apparant reason before this .

The officer has been cleared of all charges.

When I read this story on "DOWNTREND.COM" I quickly realized that the author, Brian Anderson did not pen the article with the intent to shed light on this incident or to expose an obvious injustice. His intentition was to use this young mans death as an excuse to launch an attack. The thread that seemed to run through the piece takes on a rather accusatory tone, instead of lamenting the tragedy. Andersen uses the death of Taylor to not on criticize, and demonize Rev. Al Sharpton, President Obama and the protesters in Ferguson, but the African-American community as a whole for allegedly not being as outraged about Taylor's murder, as they are about the murder of Michael Brown. He even went on to say, in so many words that Michael Brown was indirectly guilty of causing his own death by fighting with Officer Wilson, and Taylor was not so guilty because he did "nothing." This is an insulting, and stupid attempt to imply that no one cares about this shooting just because Taylor is white. But the fact of the matter is that injustice is injustice, and color doesn't matter.

Rhetoric like this is dangerous, polorizing, and serves absolutely no purpose other than to create paranoia.

These are the facts.

The officer actually recorded a bodycam video of the incident. http://youtu.be/o1UjKqzVDCw

While the bodycam video is short, it’s clear to see from the video provided that Taylor did not appear to be threat to the officer. He was shot simply for not following orders; murdered for questioning authority.

The implications of this are chilling, some police officers have an utter disregard for the lives of others, to put it mildly. We should come together and do whatever is necessary to stop fight injustice. Police shootings are not isolated incidences. Police violence is a universal problem faced by many in America, regardless of race.

Minorities are face a much higher rate of police violence, but nearly everyone that is victimized by police and the "war on drugs" are part of the working poor, regardless of race. This is a war on freedom, with racist and classist under tones, which need to be acknowledged, opposed and faught.

The police need to learn that Americans, no matter what their economic class or color, are not their enemies. Police are workers just like the rest of us, however they’ve let themselves become tools of Big Government and the prison industrial complex.

I repeat, INJUSTICE HAS NO COLOR!!

Ray Rice Gets His Job Back.....

In a stunning turn of events an arbitrator has overturned the NFL's decision to ban Ray Rice from the National Football League indefinitely. The news initially came as a shock to me given the fact that the notorious pieces of footage shown around the world clearly shows Rice savagely knocking out his then fiancé, Janay Palmer.

Barbara S. Jones, a onetime district court judge, heard Rice’s appeal over a two-day session earlier this month in which the running back argued that he had been penalized twice for the same incident: once when Goodell suspended him for two games and fined him $500,000, and again a few months later when he was suspended indefinitely after a video of the incident was published by TMZ.

Jones disagreed with the N.F.L.'s argument that Rice had misrepresented the severity of the incident when he met with Goodell in June to determine the original penalty. Her words are certain to raise fresh questions about Goodell’s handling of the biggest crisis of his eight-year tenure as commissioner as well as bolster his critics who claim that his control over the N.F.L.'s personal conduct policy should be diluted.

“I have found that Rice did not mislead the commissioner,” she wrote. “Moreover, any failure on the part of the league to understand the level of violence was not due to Rice’s description of the event, but to the inadequacy of words to convey the seriousness of domestic violence. That the league did not realize the severity of the conduct without a visual record also speaks to their admitted failure in the past to sanction this type of conduct more severely.”

“Ray Rice is a free agent and has been eligible to be signed by an N.F.L. team since he was released by the Ravens,” the statement said. “Based on Judge Jones’ decision, he will be eligible to play upon signing a new contract.”

At the time of this writing I doubted that any team would sign him. I truely believed that no NFL franchise can stand the bad publicity or backlash. But to my surprise there is actually a team that is considering signing Rice to a new contract. If another team does sign Rice, it will undoubtedly be the fasted recovery in the history of sports scandal, and send a message to abuser's everywhere. "You can get away with it."

It's a shame that "Law and Order Special Victims Unit" has gotten better at serving justice, in some cases, than the real justice system. But then again, the truth always has and always will be, stranger than fiction.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11-28-2014)

This was the Absolut* worst move she could make.

France Winey, 60, is facing a DUI charge in Florida after she allegedly sat behind the wheel of a parked car and drank vodka while a St. Lucie County Sheriff's deputy tried to question her.

The deputy responded to a call about a woman who “appeared out of it” in a parked vehicle at the American Legion at around 5:40 p.m. on Nov 16. According to an affidavit, Riney was in the driver’s seat with the keys in the ignition, but the car wasn’t running.

When the deputy asked Riney for her license, she allegedly handed him a bag of chips, then a bottle of water.

Maybe, just maybe she thought that he was hungry and thirsty!

When the deputy informed her the item in her hand was not her license, she allegedly picked up a bottle of vodka and took a swig.

Despite the fact that she was not actually driving, Riney, whose blood alcohol content astonishingly measured at more than twice the legal limit, was charged with a driving under the influence.

Now let's talk turkey......LOLOLOL! I know, I know, I just couldn't resist!

Police say a Pennsylvania woman chased her boyfriend around a dining room and stabbed him in the chest because he started eating Thanksgiving dinner while she slept off a bender.......

Authorities say Jacklyn Blake confessed to officers who responded to her Wilkes-Barre home Thursday. Officers found her boyfriend inside holding a towel over his chest. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 47-year-old Blake is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats. It wasn't clear if she has a lawyer.

According to police, Blake's boyfriend says she'd been drunk earlier in the day and attacked him after waking up from a nap. He says she stabbed him and then threw the knife, striking him just below the left eye.

Authorities in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, say a woman being cited for public drunkenness in accidentally dropped a baggie of crack cocaine on the police station floor........LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Uniontown police say 23-year-old Savannah Turachak, of Lemont Furnace, was patted down for weapons but not otherwise searched when she was brought to the station Nov. 19. That's because police were just citing and releasing her.

But police say Turachak returned moments later to report being harassed by someone and, in the process, fluffed her shirt to straighten it out and the rocks fell out.

Surveillance video shows she tried to pick up the bag but instead left it when three other people walked in. Police found it a short time later and charged her.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Turachak, and Bobby Brown called asking where to go to pick up his property.

The Church Wouldn't Bury Her!

We should all pay our 10%, no if's and's or but's about it. The principle is, if you give, it will come back to you, pressed down, shaking together, and running over. But not everyone can give, not everyone is financially blessed, and life happens. But that doesn't give anyone the right to kick them when they're down.....dead or alive.

Church is supposed to be a place where people seek solace, comfort, and refuge during times of need. But for one Houston family, they found the exact opposite at the worst possible time.

Barbara Day, the daughter of 93-year-old Olivia Blair, had always planned to bury her mother at the Fourth Missionary Baptist Church, a church she had attended for more than 50 years. But the pastor, Walter Houston refused to bury Blair just because she hadn’t paid her tithes.

“It was like the worst insult in the world.” Day said her only wish was for her mother to be buried “in the church that she loved and worshipped all of her life, even as a little girl.”

Day said that her mother had been a church member for five decades but had been sick for the past ten years and in a coma for that past two years.

Tyrone Jacques, a preacher watchdog contacted Pastor Houston and asked him to reconsider but he would not be persuaded. Instead, he said, Blair was “no longer a member of the church because she had not supported it financially in the last 10 years.”

Jacques then offered to pay for the service but Pastor Houston said no, claiming that “membership had its privileges.” This sounds more like the church of American Express.

Day was outraged saying that the church only cares about “getting money money money money money!”

I agree with her. I don’t see how the church can claim their operating under God’s will in this situation, particularly when Jesus spoke frequently about helping the sick and the poor. And if she stopped paying tithes, then it seems like that’s something she’ll have to take up with The Lord.. Just like Pastor Houston might be asked to explain why he chose not to bury her when he meets his maker.

MIKE BROWN GETS NO JUSTICE!!!

AFRICAN-AMERICANS ACROSS AMERICA ARE PISSED! Anger, disillusionment, rage, disappointment, and shock are less impactful words that do little to describe the true nature of our feelings. But while many of us hoped against hope that Michael Browns killer, officer Darren Wilson would be charged, I cannot honestly say that I am shocked. Even when you know a punch is coming it still hurts. We are enraged. You cannot deny people justice repetitively and expect them to just take it! I don't condone violence, nor do I condone fighting battle I have absolutely no chance of winning. But I understand.

Violence erupted in Ferguson, Missouri last night after demonstrators learned there would be no criminal indictment of police officer Darren Wilson for the August shooting death of teen Michael Brown.
Demonstrators taunted police, shattered windows and set fire to two St. Louis County police cars. Scattered, intermittent gunfire was also reported, but it mostly disappeared by Tuesday morning.
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said at a 1:30 a.m. CT news conference that at least a dozen buildings were burning and that he had heard at least 150 gunshots, none fired by police. A police officer was shot but not seriously hurt, Belmar said.
Police had made 29 arrests.
"I'm disappointed this evening," Belmar said. "What I've seen tonight is probably worse than the worst night we had in August."
He said protesters could not be controlled "unless we bring 10,000 policemen in here."
Scores of police officers, armed with riot gear, dispersed a crowd of about 300 with volley after volley of tear gas, pepper spray and bean bags. But not before looters plundered a Walgreen store, Family Dollar store and an Autozone outlet
A. Other protesters torched a Little Casears pizza restaurant and local beauty shop — among several buildings set ablaze that were continuing to light up the sky early Tuesday morning. Two police cars were burned.

The chaos grounded flights in and out of St. Louis' Lambert International Airport airlines until early Tuesday"to provide a safe environment for law enforcement activities, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Much of the crowd had been dispersed by about midnight. There were no other official reports of arrests or injuries.

Today's youth are not going to take too many blows without returning the favor. What happens in the future will make the protests in Ferguson seem like NOTHING. Mark my words.

Marion Barry: Remember The Man Not The Mistake

There are a myriad of adjectives that can be used to describe former D.C. Mayor Marion Barry, flamboyant, maddening, outspoken, and beloved are just a few. Marion Barry outshone every politician in the 40-year history of D.C. politics. But for many, his legacy was not defined by the accomplishments and failures of his four terms as mayor and long service on the D.C. Council.

Instead, Barry will be remembered by some for a single night in a downtown Washington hotel room and the grainy video that showed him lighting a crack pipe in the company of a much-younger woman. When FBI agents burst in, he referred to her with an expletive. She "set me up," Barry said.

Barry died Sunday at 78. His family said in statement that Barry died shortly after midnight at the United Medical Center, after having been released from Howard University Hospital on Saturday. No cause of death was given, but his spokeswoman LaToya Foster said he collapsed outside his home.

TMZ's headline read "CRACK MAYOR DEAD AT 78." While TMZ never has been and probably never will be known for tact, and good taste, one thing is for sure, they have done the impossible and sank lower than ever before. There aren't too many things as disgusting, and utterly repulsive as defaming the deceased. Despite the fact that his mistake on one infamous night has forever tarnished is reputation, Mr. Barry's good deeds far out weight his faux pas. He was a tireless advocate for those who lived in DC which is still among one of the poorest neighborhoods in the country. A tireless champion of the poor, disenfranchised, and down trodden who created a youth summer employment problem, giving many of the youth in D.C. A sense of purpose, and responsibility. This champion of the people of D.C. so endeared himself to the citizenry that they elected him even after he was caught on tape in a compromising situation, arrested, and convicted. They knew Marion Barry the man, unlike many of us who knew nothing of him before the incriminating footage shown world wide. The people that Barry held dear to his heart knew that the man he was could night be defined by one mistake in one hotel room on one night. They knew him far better than those of us who chose to judge his sin as being worse than our own rather than different than our own. The sum total of a man is not his mistakes, but his ability to triumph over them, in spite of them.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11-23-2014)

I don't claim to be a bible scholar, or an expert on what God wants. But I am pretty sure that there is nothing in it about speeding.

Speeding may be a violation of man's law, but under God's law, it's totally cool as long as you don't hurt anyone, according to televangelist Pat Ribertson who sits down and has lunch with Jesus at least a few days a week!

Speaking on his show "The 700 Club" Robertson responded to a viewer who wrote in to ask if hitting the gas a little too hard was a sin.

"Pat is it a sin to drive constantly over the speed limit?" My husband insists on speeding even when he's on time," the viewer identified as Nora wrote in a clip posted to You Tube. "In the last two years, he's gotten four speeding tickets and our insurance has gone up. He doesn't feel that God cares if we speed. What do you think?"

Who in his right mind would even entertain that question? Pat Robertson, that's who!

If Nora was hoping Robertson could get her husband to hit the brakes, she's going to be disappointed.

The preacher said he likes to speed himself, used to have a 450 hp Corvette and now has a car with 650 hp engine. He also boasted of reaching 200 mph before correcting himself and saying it was 100 mph.

“Is it a sin, II think it's a sin to hurt somebody! I think it's a sin to drive recklessly" said. "I see these clowns storming around in the midst of heavy traffic. When I drive in the city, I drive very slowly -- my wife's always saying, 'Go faster.'"

Robertson said it comes down to the effect your driving has on others.

"If your driving imperils other people, you are sinning, there’s no question about it," Robertson said. "But in an open stretch of road, you go to Texas, I think some areas there's no speed limit at all."

The bottom line: "Don't imperil anybody else with the way you drive a car."

Maybe Elwood Blues had it right in the "Blues Brothers."

"They're not going to catch us," he said as the cops starting tailing them. "We're on a mission from God."

In Camden, New Jersey a police officer has been accused of shooting a gun at his own police vehicle..........

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Da'Shaun Carr used his personal gun to shoot a hole in his windshield on Oct. 3 and then communicated by police radio that he had been fired upon.........

What a brilliant plan Da'Shaun!

Police searched the area around New Brooklyn Park in Winslow, where he said the shooting happened.

Carr is a part-time special officer with the Winslow Police Department. He was charged Monday with false public alarms and has been suspended without pay.

Reached by phone Friday, Carr said that, "I don't have charges against me."

No one knows exactly what he was hoping to accomplish but "Scandal" was on at the beginning of his shift and....

His lawyer was out of the office and did not immediately return a call.

Officials in a Polish town have opposed a proposition to name a playground after Winnie-the-Pooh due to the bear's unclear gender and immodest clothing.

BOTTOMLESS!
Which is kinda freaky in a way. You try walking around bottomless and see what happens!

The matter was debated in a closed-door meeting weeks ago in the central Polish town of Tuszyn, but didn't get much media attention in Poland until recent days.

Voice recordings of the meeting were leaked to the media in which officials complained that Pooh Bear is immodestly dressed and also lacks a clear gender. One called the bear a "hermaphrodite." Oh kaaaaaay.

Some said a fully clothed Polish cartoon bear named Uszatek would be a better choice.

One of the Pooh Bear opponents, Ryszard Cichy, told a newspaper that he had been joking at the end of a discussion on a playground that had gone on too long.

Is Cosby Guilty?!

I'll make this one short, sweet, and to the point. It seems like every day this week there has been a woman coming forward accusing Bill Cosby of rape. While I realize, recognize, and understand that rape is a heinous crime and it's victims deserve justice, in this particular case there are some questions that must be asked. 1. Why are these women coming forward 30, or 40 years after the fact? One of these accusations supposedly happened in the 60's! 2. The story broke during the same week that the nation awaits the Grand Jury decision in Feeguson. Is this a deliberate distraction or a coincidence? 3. Where is the evidence?

I have always been disturbed by the fact that any woman, any where can accuse any man of rape and it is automatically assumed that the man is guilty.
Do I believe that Mr. Cosby is guilty of rape? No. Is he guilty of philandering, and adultery? I say he most definitely is. But one thing is for sure. If he is guilty, he'll have to answer for it sooner or later, and at his age it will probably be sooner.

Black People Are Going To Be Violent?

Am I wrong for being offended, or am I just overreacting? In preparation for the Grand Jury decision in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri, the National Guard has been put on stand by, Missouri governor Jay Nixon has declared a state of emergency, shops and stores have boarded up their windows, and the nation is waiting for violence and mayhem to ensue. Alll under the assumption that the African-American resident's of Ferguson are going to riot, loot, and destroy the city if the Grand Jury does not decide to charge officer Darren Wilson the murder of Michael Brown. I have never heard of a government official declaring a state of emergency before the emergency actually existed, and the idea that anyone would do so is ludacris.

In my opinion, this assumption is insulting, inscindiary, and devisive. In addition to giving some indication as to what the decision will be, it also primes the public by leaving an indullable impression of those who are protesting. The implication is that there can't possibly be peace even though there is not sign or evidence that there will not be. In fact the only group who is threatening violence is the Kiu Klux Klan, who have openly supported Governor Nixon. This hate group is nothing more than a gang of home grown terrorist, yet they have not been targeted.
I implore the African-American community in Ferguson not to bring these dubious predictions into fruition should the Grand Jury decide not to charge officer Wilson. Rioting in a town already on alert is a losing battle not worth fighting!

Mother Blows $120,000 In Donations!

I wrote about her story here. My heart went out to her. I felt sorry for her. I defended her. I sympathized her, and she fooled me. Unfortunately she fooled a whole lot of other people as well. But the difference between me and them is the fact that she didn't get one dime of my hard earned money!

Shanesha Taylor, the Arizona mom battling charges for allegedly leaving her children in a hot car while she went to a job interview, will now be represented by a public defender.

Taylor's other two attorneys were allowed to withdraw from the case after both lawyers said that there had been a breakdown in communication and trust between them and the defendant.

Benjamin Taylor, who is not related to the defendant, said that he had an ethical conflict with the Phoenix mom, and John Agra, who had been representing Shanesha Taylor for only a few days, said that he had not been paid.

Taylor is still facing felony child abuse charges after failing to meet the deadlines that prosecutors gave her to put money into a trust fund for her children. Taylor had two separate deadlines for putting money into the fund and avoiding charges, but she missed both. Taylor said she didn't put the money in because her children would not have been able to access the money if they did not attend college. Obviously Taylor does not have high expectations for her children.

But as her narrative continues, unflattering stories about Taylor and her attitude since her arrest for leaving her two young sons in the car have surfaced.

A minister who was helping Taylor said that the mom was wasting opportunities presented to her, "squandering ... goodwill", he said

"I got a lot of calls and made a lot of calls to people that are at the helm of hotels and restaurant chains and other businesses locally here ... so she could find full-time employment," the Rev. Jarrett Maupin said, "only to have her not show up for the interviews."

Other supporters, as well as her attorney, received job offers on her behalf, but Taylor reportedly turned her back on each and every opportunity because, Maupin said. Taylor's reason, it wasn't the kind of work she wanted to do, even though most of the offers were in hospitality, the field she preferred, and offered good wages.

"This is someone that was looking for anything right, at least according to the statement she made to the media and to the public and to the people supporting her, but there were umpteen opportunities for her to become fully employed," Maupin added in his blistering commentary.

Maupin believes that Taylor's supposed inability to pay legal fees goes to show that she spent all of the money, more than $100,000, that Internet supporters donated. "You can't have what she claims to have, $72,000 left of the money, and be declared indigent," he said. "That is just impossible ... that money is gone.

"I think the public's charity spicket has been closed tight, and for good reason," he said. "People are sometimes cynical about our country, but truly the nation opened up its heart to Shanesha in a way I've never seen them do before for people in similar circumstances, and she squandered that goodwill."

Prosecutors charged that Taylor was spending more than $4,000 a month on non-essential items, and now a former supporter of hers says she even spent some dough on a rap album.

"We had someone call my office and alert her attorney to the fact that she spent $6,000 at a music studio in Tempe to finish her baby daddy's rap album," Reverend  Maupin went on to say. "That's not what people gave her that money for."

The Super Deadbeat Dad!

Stories about men like this are all too common, sad and disturbing. Mainly because there are so many different elements to these stories. First and foremost the irresponsibity of any many who makes and leaves babies all over town. Then there are the naive women who actually believe that they will be treated differently  that the first 6,7,8,9,10,11,12 women, and of course the obvious danger associated with have so many different sexual partners who've had so many different sexual partners. There is so much wrong that it is virtually impossible to place the blame or point the finger. But some of these familiar narratives stand out more than others.

A Tennessee deadbeat who has fathered 26 children with 20 different women has again been ordered by a judge to make child support payments, this time for a two-year-old Arkansas boy, court records show.

Terry Turnage, a 50-year-old Memphis resident, was ordered this month to pay a paltry $60 per week to Miesha Davis, mother of the pair’s son Ja’Voin. The support order came as a result of a paternity complaint filed on Davis’s behalf by Arkansas’s Office of Child Support Enforcement. Side Bar: I thought this     was Mike Tyson at first!

A Circuit Court judge also ordered Turnage to “maintain health care insurance” for the child “when reasonably available” through his employer, and pay $365 in court fees.

In addition to Davis, two other Arkansas women have recently secured child support orders against Turnage, who has gained notoriety for impregnating assorted Tennessee women (many of whom also have secured child support orders to which Turnage has failed to adhere).

According to Arkansas court records, state officials have filed income withholding notices with a Memphis company that operates a McDonald’s restaurant where Turn-age has supposedly worked (and earned $247.28 weekly).

However, it appears that Turnage has a stake in a Forrest City, Arkansas nightclub that lists its owner as Turnage’s son, Terry Jr.. The elder Turnage is a regular at Club Envy, where he last month hosted a two-day party celebrating his 50th birthday. The club’s address is listed as Turnage’s residence in some court papers.

In addition to his assorted child support cases, Turnage is facing a felony charge of making terroristic threats. Investigators allege that Turnage threatened a Forrest City businessman from whom he had purchased an automobile that did not run.

In a June written statement, the victim told cops that Turnage warned that if he did not have the Chevrolet repaired and delivered to the Club Envy parking lot, “he would shoot me or my wife.” The man added that Turnage “led me to believe that he had a gun and that he was willing and able to carry through” on his repeated threats.

Turnage, who is unwilling to support his offspring, paid the businessman $10,000 in cash for the 2005 Corvette.

If convicted of the felony charge, Turnage faces a maximum of six years in state prison. He is being represented by a public defender after filing an “affidavit of indigency” in late-September.

She Tweeted Her Job Away.......

Stupid has no color, no complextion, or hue. It is what it is.

A Texas teacher was fired Friday, one week after sending racially charged tweets about incidents in Ferguson, Missouri.

Vinita Hegwood said in a statement that she was "reacting to a series of threatening and racist attacks" made against her and her "expressed opinions on Ferguson, Missouri," when, on November 7 in a fit of rage/bad judgement, she wrote, "Who the_____ made you dumb _____crackers think I give a squat ______ about your opinions. #Ferguson Kill yourselves."

Later that evening using the exact same bad judgement that lead her to post the first psychopathic tweet, she posted one that was even worse, saying, "You exhibit nigga behavior, I'm a call you a nigga. You acting crackerish, I'm a call you a cracker."

Texas needs to do a better job of vetting it's teachers. This woman is just a little cray, cray! Just a little.

Hegwood, whom the school district suspended last Monday, submitted her resignation Thursday, accepting responsibility for the tweets that she said were sent "emotionally and impulsively."

The Duncanville Independent School District's seven-member board declined to accept her resignation and insteadvoted to terminate her, district spokeswoman Lari Barager said.

District employees do have the right to free speech, Barager said, but Hegwood's comments were so egregious, the school was left with "no other option."

Hegwood, an English teacher, was in her second year at Duncanville High School near Dallas.

She apologized for any embarrassment her actions may have caused the district.

The Klan Wants You! Me! and Even You.....Allegedly

Hey black guy, white guy, Hispanic guy, have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of an elite group? Have you ever had the urge to ride around wrapped in your mother's bed sheets wearing a hood and burning crosses on innocent people's lawn's? Well have I got news for you! The Ku Klux Klan has decided to welcome all of us. Yes, I said all of us! The Klan has now become a progressive organization, Imagine that, and on the same day that I was able to purchase the Brooklyn Bridge for a $1.00!

Residents of a predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood in West Cocoa, Florida were angered, shocked and disgusted because of the fact that they've been finding Klan recruitment flyers strewn about their neighborhood left by white supremacist's from North Carolina over the past few weeks. The flyer's feature a cloaked clown with the caption "Our race, our nation", along with details on how to join the North Carolina group.

"We had a couple people who were very upset and wanted us to do something about it. We explained that no law had been broken," Cocoa Police Officer Barbara Matthews said. "It's just a solicitation but we said if you see someone in your neighborhood ... please call us and let us check out with them.

"Luke Setzer who found one outside his West Cocoa home on Sunday morning, descibed it as simply embarrassing for the country to have to deal with in this day and age,.Tomas Lebron, who found the fliers in his nearby Rockledge neighborhood last week, described it as a possible attempt to intimate him and his neighbors, who are predominantly Hispanic. Tim Washington, who came across a flier in his predominantly black New Smyrna Beach neighborhood on Nov. 10, plainly summed it up as a message of "hate.""I think it's shallow, this day and age," Washington, who's black, contacted KKK leader Robert Jones to ask why his group, one that's labeled as a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center  chose the black neighborhood as part of their recruiting effort.
The neighborhood was described as one of many picked by the group, however this one was picked accidentally, he said. The wildly articulate Jones then went on to say.....

"Well, we don't have no way of judging where we're putting the flyers at,"

Probably because people who are as deeply immersed in idiocy as they are have no idea how to use a computer, or their brains for that matter. Oh, forgive me for believing that they actually have brains.

Jones said they've distributed hundreds of fliers over the last few days. But surprisingly no one from the area has shown interest in joining though they have had interest elsewhere. An upcoming KKK rally being held in North Carolina, according to their website, is described as rallying but with a holiday twist."There will be a cross lighting. There will be a Free Christmas Ham dinner. There will be speeches and klans," they advertise.Ericka Blount, who lives in one of the Florida neighborhoods targeted by their group, offered one message for them after finding one of their fliers."Stay away from our neighborhood.". "We live together here, all different races."

In all reality, I believe that they knew exactly what they were doing. Perhaps someone figured out that the Klan could use the way that it's been stereotyped to it's advantage. In other words, someone was smart enough to use ignorance as a defense. Aren't you glad that you read The PRBrown Report! Its time for me to do what I do best, and peel back the layers,

"Our race, our nation", is a two pronged diversion method. This phrase is a cunning yet misguided attempt to marginalize and separate ethnic groups. Using the phrase "Our race our nation", is a proclamation. made in an attempt to separate those who were born in America from immigrants, illegal or otherwise  A coded message which speaks in reference to the disdain that some american's both black and white have for illegal immigrant's. Do not be fooled this was a planned method of recruitment. A psychological experiment, a fishing expedition, and a recruitment drive all rolled into one. The question is.......will anybody fall for it?  Before you say no, think about this. There are more that a few African-American's in the Republican Party. Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11-15-2014)

Today's special: Raw seasoned beef, with a kick! What kind of seasoning? You ask..........

Transportation Security Administration agents working at the Mineta San José International Airport made a hefty discovery recently, "three vacuum-sealed packs of cocaine ... concealed in raw meat," the TSA said in a statement.

The drugs, approximately 3 pounds of cocaine were found Nov. 8, packed inside the luggage of a 24-year-old male passenger flying to Seattle.

The TSA notified the San Jose Police Department and the suspect was removed from his flight and arrested on criminal charges. Packing meat!

I've had some tough teacher's in my day, but none of them were like this guy!!

A biology teacher in Boise, Idaho is facing possible disciplinary action after killing and skinning a rabbit in class to show students where their food comes from. OH MY!!!.......

Nampa School District spokeswoman Allison Westfall says the teacher killed the rabbit in front of 16 students by snapping its neck on Nov. 6 at Columbia High School.

The rabbit was then skinned and cut up in front of the 10th graders who were mortified, horrorfied, and petrified!

Westfall says the demonstration isn't part of the biology curriculum.

She says students who didn't want to view the lesson were allowed to leave ahead of time.

The teacher's name hasn't been released.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say....Elmer Fudd, maybe!

This takes voter suppression to a whole new level!
Dale Hopfinger ran into a problem while trying to vote in Michigan: He was told he was dead.

An election worker even told him that local records listed the date of his demise as Sept. 25. After some persuasion, Hopfinger says officials finally allowed him to cast a ballot last week in Lee Township.

Hopfinger has been working to figure out what happened, and the Social Security Administration told him it was likely a clerical error. The 48-year-old said he plans to visit a Social Security office in Bay City on to try to settle the issue.

5 States That Are Not Good For Black People

Progress has always been the goal of black America.

We started from below the bottom (not having personhood), and worked our way up to the age of President Obama, where we are leaps and bounds ahead of where we used to be, (we have personhood now!) but are still struggling to make it to the middle, let alone to the top, of society’s. A lot of things are working against us, and a lot of it boils down to where we live.

Let’s face it. Some places are worse to be black in than others, and I’m not just talking historically racial quagmires like Mississippi. Racism and a weakened social safety net know no region. Wisconsin, Ohio and others have their bad points, which go beyond their lack of NBA championships.

Taking into account stats on education, health, incarceration rate, economics and general misery, these are some of the worst states for black people.

Wisconsin

So bad it should get ranked twice, the state of Wisconsin incarcerates black people at the highest rate in the country, 13 percent. Within the state, 49 percent of black men under 30 have already been incarcerated, mostly because of its mandatory-minimum-sentencing drug laws, overall hostility toward drug users (prison is often preferred over treatment) and “driving while poor,” aka having a suspended license because of unpaid fines. Other problems with Wisconsin include it's punitive voter ID law which disproportionately affects African Americans, and its education of black kids—boy, is it bad at education.

The Annie F Casey Foundation put out a report this year ranking Wisconsin as the worst place to raise black children. (It beat out Mississippi, which was the second-worst place.) The foundation gave Wisconsin a score of 238 out of 1,000 for “its ability to prepare black children for educational and financial success.” The national average score was 345, with Hawaii receiving the highest score, 583. Adding insult to injury, Wisconsin was ranked 10th overall in preparing white children for success.

And its largest city, Milwaukee, is amongthe most segregated cities in the United States.

Ohio

Thank goodness they have LeBron, because Ohio is having a rough time otherwise. The Buckeye State is home to the second highest infant mortality rate in the country. The median black household income is a horrid $26,039, compared with $45,400 for white Ohioans. (The national median income for black households is not awesome but better than Ohio at $33,321.) Cleveland ranks in the top 10 most segregated cites. Ohio is also No. 6 on the list of worst places to raise black children. Oh, and let's notforget the voter suppression: Ohio has run into myriad voting snafus affecting the black vote, going back to the re-election of George W. Bush in 2004.

Michigan

Michigan gets on the list for being the third worst state in which to raise black children; the home of Detroit, America's No. 1 most segregated city; and for having the highest black unemployment rate in the nation, which clocks in at 16.7 percent. (Michigan’s white unemployment rate is only 5.8 percent.) To go with that miserable rate, Michigan also has the lowest rate of approval (23 percent) for jobless benefits.

Iowa

If you’re black and into marijuana, avoid Iowa. The state arrests blacks at a rate eight times higher than whites for marijuana possession, despite the rate of drug usage between blacks and whites being about the same. For years, Iowa also held the title for locking up black people at a higher rate than any other state (it recently lost that crown to Wisconsin). While other states have large prison populations, what makes Iowa stand out is that it’s a relatively small state with a small population. In fact, its black population is only about 3 percent. Adding insult to injury, the poverty rate among African Americans in Iow as 31 percent, compared with 11 percent for white Iowans.

Mississippi

As the second worst place to raise a black child in America, Mississippi has a lot of other issues to go with that dishonor. It has the unfortunate distinction of having the highest infant mortality rate in the country nearly 10 deaths for every 1,000 births, beating out also-high neighbors Louisiana and Alabama. But why is it so high? Probably because the numbers are heavily skewed by the black birth mortality rate, which is 13.8 per 1,000 births, with 40 percent of all infants in Mississippi being born to black women. One of the poorest states in the nation, Mississippi also has ahighblack unemployment rate (13.9 percent) and the worst unemployment benefits (a paltry average of $194 per week).

SLAP!!!!

There are 8 million stories in the naked city, and this is one.....

There is never a reason for a man to hit a woman. But each and every one of us has a limit, and once you decide to push somebody, anybody, it is impossible to admitt how they'll react.

WATCH THIS VIDEO

A hulking 6-foot-6 bouncer who was arrested for slapping a woman during a subway melee said he would apologize to her for the blow even though prosecutors ruled he acted in self-defense.

“A man is never supposed to hit a girl,” s Jorge Pena, 25 said, a part-time bouncer who came to the city from the Dominican Republic four years ago.

“She put me in a position that I had no choice. She tried to kill me." The incident broke out on the F train around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday and became a viral video sensation on the internet.

Still, if he saw Shanique Campbell, the woman he accuses of verbally and physically assaulting him, he’d say sorry for striking her.

“If see her I’m going to apologize to her because a man should never hit a girl,” said the new dad, who works wherever he can find it to support his girlfriend and 20-month-old son.

Pena had just finished a 12-hour shift when Campbell attacked him on the F train, he said.

After hurling insults at him, she slapped at him and hit him in the back of the head with her stiletto heel, according to a video of the fracas that’s since gone viral.

Pena plans to sue the city over the unwarranted arrest, the man’s lawyer said Wednesday.

He was released after prosecutors found he was acting in self-defense, his lawyer, Cary London, said.

The case was officially dismissed Monday in Manhattan Criminal Court after the DA’s office reviewed the tape, which shows Pena getting harassed by Campbell .

Campbell, 20, can be seen berating Pena, who towered over her, and making fun of his fashion choices. Pena was wearing a ljacket which has a large 8-ball on the back.

A group of her friends can be seen egging on Campbell.

Pena, who speaks with a heavy accent, said he didn’t know any of the women. He heard them making fun of other passengers when he got on the train, he said.

He didn’t know why they turned on him.

“I don't talk to you. I don't know you. Just leave me alone. I don't know why you're talking to me,” he said to Campbell, when she demanded to know if he and his friend had been whispering about her.

Campbell called him a “bum ass n****” and “stupid,” Pena said. She also made fun of his 8-ball coat.

Pena remained silent until Campbell moved away. She noticed a man filming her and slapped the camera out of his hands several times, the video shows.

In the video, as Pena tries to walk past her, he is heard calling her a b****.

Campbell whips off her high heel and clocks him on the back of the head — which was luckily padded by Pena’s thick hat.

Pena turns around and slaps her hard enough to send her flying back several feet — then her friends and another man jump into the brawl.

He was arrested with three others. Pena had to go to the hospital to get a cut near his ear stitched up and another near his nose, he said.

“I have never been in trouble before. I've never slapped someone,” he said, adding that his arrest experience was horrible.

“I am quiet man ... I respect women. That's why I don't do nothing when she pushed me but when she hit me I had to do something. I had no choice,” he said.

He was thrilled to learn the charges against him were dropped, he said.

His lawyers are still probing all aspects of the litigation, including whether Campbell has some liability.

“She is ultimately the reason he was put in the situation,” said attorney Joseph Indusi, of London Indusi LLP.

“We're currently investigating with an eye toward possible future civil litigation,” he said.
