The Evil Clown!

Up until I heard this story I wondered why anyone would pay a clown any attention. They seemed harmless enough as far as I was concerned until now.

A dispicable, unidentified clown was banned from the Delta Fair in Memphis, Tenn., for allegedly yelling racial slurs on Labor Day.

"We heard over the loud speaker someone say, 'Hey, nappy head,'" Tanya Jones told the local media.

"When we heard that we looked at each other because we didn't know who they were talking to," added Jones. "I've never experienced anything like that before. I was really humiliated."

The voice was reportedly coming from an idiotic clown perched inside the dunk tank.

Mario Curry, who was with Jones and three children, said, "He was like, 'Yeah I'm talking to you, Sheneneh... You look unbeweavable.'"

According to media sources, there is a sign at the dunk tank warns people that the clown would be insulting people as part of his shtick.

The Delta Fair reportedly fired the clown and refunded Jones and her family their admission tickets, which cost more than $100.

"We try to promote the Delta Fair as clean, safe and family friendly," Mark Lovell, president of the Delta Fair, told WMC Action News 5. "We try to keep the comments fun without sexual and racial connotations."
