I Stand On My Knees

Just because I've learned to stand on my knees it doesn't not mean that I am weak. 

Just because I am a child of God, it does not mean that I am timid and will not speak. 

Just because I am patient it doesn't mean that I am not strong. 

Just because you try to make me stumble it does not mean that I will not carry on. 

Sleep if you want to but when pushed way too far you will see me through blurry vision, bruised and counting stars.

Down on my knees I am stronger than when I stand.

Just because I follow Jesus it doesn't make me less of a man.
