The $3,000,000 Pedophile

A convicted sex offender won a multi-million dollar jackpot from the Florida Lottery over the past weekend.

Timothy Poole, 43, of Mount Dora, Florida won $3 million from a scratch-off ticket he purchased at a 7-Eleven over the weekend. Poole, who currently works as a cab driver for his mother's taxi company, was arrested in 1999 after allegedly sexually battering a 9-year-old boy.

Poole denied the allegations and went to jail for 13 months. Poole was sent to prison in 2003 again after not attending four of his sex offender counseling sessions. Poole has had no run ins with the law since his release in 2006.

Poole claimed his winnings this week in a lump sum payment that totals $2,219,807.90. A Florida Lottery spokesperson said that payments are not withheld based on a winner's criminal background. However, if a lottery winner does owe money to a state agency, such as child support, then it can be withheld.

All that money and he still won't be free. I hope they have his pics up at each and every candy store, playground. and public school in the area.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (12-13-2014)

A crazy nut who came to an Oregon courtroom on Monday to be arraigned on a heroin possession charge dug a deeper hole for himself with a needle. How? You ask.

Because Michael Durban, 23, allegedly showed up to the Marion Count Courthouse with a syringe and a cotton ball in his pocket, KPTV.com reports.

Durban was going through a security screening when deputies allegedly foundhypodermic needles and a cotton ball that they think contained heroin in his pocket, according to OregonLive.com.

When the authorities pointed out the drug paraphernalia, the suspect allegedly said, "I got mixed up I thought I left it in my car."..........It's kind of hard to shake that monkey off your back and leave it in the car, I guess.

Durban, who was supposed to be arraigned on a drug charge, was arrested on the spot and charged with unlawful possession of herion.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned on the new charge.

And you thought your house/apartment was small?

A man secretly living in the ceiling of a restaurant and bar in Denver managed to flood his home and get stuck in a wall as he tried to evade capture.

Police were called to Yard House at 11 p.m. Tuesday night after employees said a man fell through the ceiling.  Initially, the unidentified suspect was hard to find, but officers spotted him walking around the scaffolding above the restaurant like some sort of deranged tight rope walker.

The ceiling dweller disappeared from view and somehow managed to trip a water main, which began flooding the restaurant below. It took nearly three hours to find the man. Officers heard moaning coming from the front of the restaurant, and when they pulled back one of the chairs there, they saw the man's feet behind a wall.

"I have not seen a call like this ever," Denver Police Cpl. James Balling said.

FINALLY, somebody took my gastronomical dreams and made a sandwich out of them!!!
KFC Korea's Zinger Double Down King.
The Double Down made of two slabs of fried chicken, bacon and some cheese is practically diet food compared to Koreas's addition of the "zinger". The zinger, you see, is the addition of a meat patty inside. It is a sandwich made of fat and it is a crime against digestion.
But it's probably DELICIOUS!

CAN WE BREATHE?

"I CAN'T BREATHE!" These were the last words that Eric Garner gasped as an evil police officer choked the life out of him. Those of us who have seen the video recognize it as both a dying mans plea for his life and a three word affirmation of what it means for the majority of us to be black in America.

Recently these words have become a slogan worn and displayed by celebrities and athletes as a show of solidarity and support for those who are protesting the Grand Jury decision not to indict the officer who murdered Eric. But as Black people in America how can any of us really breathe? Being black in America means that the things that others take for granted, like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not guaranteed but subject to change on a whim. How can we breathe knowing that our lives can be taken just for being what God made us, and nothing more? How can we breathe knowing that our right to exercise our rights can be deemed null and void by whoever decides he is superior enough to make that decision on that day?
Each and every journey out into the world is one in which we inhale before we open our doors and exhale with exhausting, exuberant sighs of relief for having survived our black adventure once we return home, because we know that many before us have ventured out on routine and have never come back. Living a life in which you can only be a contrived version of yourself to the world as opposed to who you really are, is a job. Not a profession. It's an intense struggle to live, to survive, and maintain.

"I CAN'T BREATHE."

.........And Justice For........

On November 20th  an over zealous rookie police officer (Peter Liamg), "accidently" shot and killed Akai Gurley in the stairwell of "The Pink Houses" public housing project in the East New York section of Brooklyn. Gurley was unarmed and he was NOT a suspect in the commission of a crime. I would say that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the fact of the matter is that he was home, in his place, at that time.

The Brooklyn district attorney said Friday he will impanel a grand jury to investigate the death of Akai Gurley, who was unarmed when a rookie police officer shot him to death in the unlit stairwell of a housing project last month.

"I expect to present evidence regarding the ... shooting of Akai Gurley to a grand jury because it is important to get to the bottom of what happened," District Attorney Ken Thompson said in a press release. "I pledge to conduct a full and fair investigation and to give the grand jury all of the information necessary to do its job."

Earlier Friday, Gurley's mother, Sylvia Palmer, said that "I pray to God I get justice for my son."

"My son was my heart and now he's been taken away from me," Palmer said at a press conference.

The Brooklyn district attorney's decision comes as protesters take to the streets of American cities to protest police killings of unarmed black men in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York. A wake was held Friday night for Gurley at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn.

He was "a total innocent who just happened" to run into Officer Peter Liang in a "pitch black" stairwell at the Louis H. Pink Houses in Brooklyn, New York Police Commissioner William Bratton told reporters the day after the killing.

Liang, with less than 18 months on the job and on probationary status, has been placed on modified assignment and stripped of his gun and badge pending an investigation.

Liang and his partner were part of a "violence reduction overtime detail" at the Pink Houses, where a spate of serious crimes have been reported in recent months, including two robberies and four assaults, Bratton said.

The officers had taken an elevator to the building's top floor to check on the roof and were taking the stairs down from the eighth floor, Bratton said, when the officer discharged the weapon. There were no lights in the stairwell leading up to the roof.

Liang drew a flashlight and his weapon "for safety reasons," the police commissioner said. The other officer did not draw his gun.

In the darkened stairwell, Liang's gun discharged about the same time that Gurley, the father of a 2-year-old, and his girlfriend were entering the seventh-floor landing, Bratton said.

U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, a Democrat who represents large sections of Brooklyn, said told CNN Friday that the problem in many police shootings is officer training, not race relations.

He noted that Gurley was African-American and Liang is Asian-American.

Jeffries said he's pleased the grand jury investigation will occur and hopes for "an aggressive presentation of information."

And in other innocent African-American's murdered by police news.........

After Cleveland officer Timothy Loehmann, shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice to death and then allegedly left him there for several minutes without seeking medical help, they handcuffed his 14-year-old sister and threatened to detain her, the siblings’ mother alleged during a recent press conference.

Samaria Rice said Monday that shefound her daughter handcuffed in the back of a police car when she got to the playground where her son was shot dead for carrying a fake gun. The daughter then told her that officers had handcuffed her when she reacted to seeing her brother bleeding on the ground, and said they would put her in the back of the car if she didn’t calm down, according to BuzzFeed.

Cleveland Police haven’t responded to an inquiry from the Cleveland Plain Dealer asking for confirmation of the new details.

Rice had been at the park playing with a toy pistol, when someone called the police reporting a kid with a gun that even they conceded was likely fake. Within seconds of arriving, Loehmann reportedly fired his gun at the child. The shooting comes as a new Justice Department investigation finds rampant police brutality, including one incident in which a 300-pound officer sat on a 13 year-old boy who weighed half as much and punched the boy in the face repeatedly while the boy was handcuffed in the back of a police car.

And employment records reveal that Loehmann was deemed “not mentally prepared to be doing firearm training” and lacking the maturity to be a police officer by his previous employer. In his application to become a Cleveland officer, he listed "under the table jobsas prior employment.

Their lawyer, Benjamin Crump, made a public request Monday that prosecutors bypass the grand jury indictment and file criminal charges against Loehmann.

Loehmann shot Rice within two seconds of getting out of his patrol car, according to surveillance video released by police.

Loehmann's partner, Frank Garmback, remained at the wheel of the car.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (12-6-2014)

Just When You Thought You Heard It All....You Hear More!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

#CrimingWhileWhite

This is without a doubt the most interesting, and the most enlightening thing that I have ever read on Twitter, #CrimingWhileWhite is a hashtag created by John Stewart. He asked white people to tweet about instances in which they should have been arrested but were NOT, in order to show the racial disparity between the way law enforcement treats Black people as opposed to white people.
The tweets will astound, amaze, and shock you!

And nobody is coming to arrest them for confessing to crimes on Twitter.

Are The Police Allowed To Kill Us Now?!

Just in case you were wondering, that makes two!! Two young, unarmed African-American men murdered, and two police officers who got away with murdering them!! The conclusion, Grand Jury's just don't work in these cases.

A New York City grand jury declined to indict a white police officer in the case of Eric Garner, a 43-year-old unarmed black man who died July 17 in a police chokehold. Despite the fact that the medical examiner ruled his death a homicide!

The deaf, dumb, and blind grand jury found "no reasonable cause" to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was attempting to arrest Garner for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes. Not guns, not drugs, not hooker, or nuclear weapon. UNTAXED CIGARETTES! Because, God knows there are no crimes more serious in New York City than untaxed cigarettes!

Amid crowds gathering tonight to protest in Manhattan and growing discord on social media about the decision, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the Justice Department is opening a federal civil rights inquiry.

Holder, while urging calm in the aftermath of yet another controversial grand jury action, promised that the federal inquiry would be "independent, thorough and fair.''

President Obama said the grand jury decision will spark strong reaction from the public, especially in the wake of a similar decision in Missouri last week not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown.

"There was a decision that came out today by a grand jury not to indict police officers who had interacted with an individual named Eric Garner in New York City -- all of which was caught on video tape and speaks to the larger issues that we've been talking about now for the last week, the last month, the last year and, sadly, for decades," Obama said.

"And that is the concern on the part of too many minority communities that law enforcement is not working with them and dealing with them in a fair way."

State charges could have ranged from murder to reckless endangerment.

Garner, who had asthma, could be heard on video shouting, "I can't breathe" at least eight times as Pantaleo takes him down in what appears to be a chokehold, an action the New York Police Department prohibits. He died in a hospital hours later.

"Oh, my God, are you serious?" Esaw Garner, Eric Garner's widow, said, "I'm very disappointed. You can see in the video that he (the cop) was dead wrong!"

Family lawyer Jonathan Moore said he was "actually astonished based on the evidence of the videotape, and the medical examiner, that this grand jury at this time wouldn't indict for anything."

In his first public comments, Pantaleo said he prays for Garner's family and hopes they accept his condolences.

"I became a police officer to help people and to protect those who can't protect themselves," he said in the statement. "It is never my intention to harm anyone, and I feel very bad about the death of Mr. Garner."

Police union officials and Pantaleo's lawyer argued that the officer used a takedown move taught by the police department, not a banned maneuver, because Garner was resisting arrest. They said his poor health was the main reason he died

Garner's family scheduled a press conference with civil rights leader Al Sharpton for Wednesday night.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that he spoke with Attorney General Eric Holder, who pledged that the federal government would investigate the matter and that local U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch would oversee it.

Shortly after The US Justice Department announced that it is opening a federal civil rights investigation into the death of Garner.

US Attorney General Eric Holder made the announcement Wednesday evening, i The investigation will consider whether or not police violated Garner's civil rights.

Prosecutors will conduct an independent, thorough, and fair investigation, Holder said, including a "complete review" of material gathered during the local investigation.

In order to bring charges against New York Police Department Officer Daniel Pantaleo, the Justice Department will need enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Garner's rights were violated, and that Pantaleo did so "willfully."

Should She Be Buried As A Man?!

The funeral of a transgender woman in Twin Falls, Idaho, is gaining national attention.

At her open casket funeral just a few weeks ago, friends
were shocked to see her dressed as a man.

"There were other friends that were there. You could see the disbelief in everyone's eyes that this is what happened. She should have been buried as Jennifer, not Geoff," said friend Tiana Colesell.

Jennifer Gable died of a brain aneurysm. In recent years, she reached out to childhood friends who knew her as a former Twin Falls High School student, Geoff Gable.

"When she first got ahold of me in 2010 on Facebook, I was confused, who is Jennifer Gable? And then she started explaining, and then we started talking from there," said friend Naomi Sweatfield.

In Facebook posts, Jennifer expressed frustration with her transition to becoming a woman. Friends say at her funeral, Gable wasn't presented the way she would have liked.

"Very, very displeasing. I couldn't believe her family would have her changed into a man again. That isn't what she wanted, that isn't who she was," said Colesell.

"All the pictures I saw, she was always hair done, makeup, looking pretty," Sweatfield said.

Funeral director Mike Parke says he's receiving threatening e-mails from people who don't know the other side of the story. In an e-mail, he writes, "We dressed the individual in the clothing requested by the next of kin, called the Idaho State Department of Vital Statistics to verify how the death certificate should be legally filed. Due to the nature of the death, the individual's hair was cut at the hospital by surgical staff, not our firm."

He continues, "I feel horrible for this individual, and the torment she had to endure."

He also stated that he feels horrible for family saying, "Having to deal with the death of a loved one and being forced to make a decision on how to lay that person to rest."

As for Jennifer's friends, they say they hope the incident will serve as a lesson for the transgender community.

"This is more of awareness; It's important to have a will, she didn't have a will. People are who are they are and we don't need to be judging them," Colesell said.

As for Gable's family, an obituary makes no mention of "Jennifer," and shows a picture of a smiling young man.

"Geoffrey Charles Gable, 32, Boise, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2014 while at his job at Wells Fargo Bank.

"He was born in Twin Falls on January 27, 1982 to Anthony Clark Gable and Lori Ann Walton.

"Geoff and his brother, Steven, were raised from toddlers by their maternal grandparents, George and Joan Walton.

"He attended Morningside Elementary School, O'Leary Junior High and graduated from Twin Falls High School in the year 2000.

"He was married to Ann Arthurs in 2005 in Hawaii. They were later divorced.

"Geoff grew up as a member of the Twin Falls First Christian Church, where he was baptized in 1996.
He loved animals and his constant companion during the last decade of his life was his beloved little black Miniature Schnauzer, Mindy.

"Geoff attended Oregon State University on a Marine Scholarship for one year, the University of Idaho, the College of Southern Idaho, and Boise State University. Most of those years he pursued a major in music. Geoff played the piano, trombone, violin, and guitar. He played in jazz bands in junior high and high school. He had a nice tenor voice and was a member of Jive and Chamber Singers while in High School. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

"Geoff loved baseball and was a catcher for many of his little league teams, as well as playing one baseball season in High School."

The obituary says Gable's mother died in 2001.

Not much to say here as far as I'm concerned.
You are what God made you!

One More GOP MORON.

“Dear Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play. Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department. Nevertheless, stretch yourself. Rise to the occasion. Act like being in the White House matters to you. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during televised public events.”

This is the nasty, mean-spirited comment that GOP aide Elizabeth Lauten posted on her Facebook page in a flagrant, misguided attempt to score points with her party. But all she accomplished was the enevitable creation of turmoil. You see, and this may come as a surprize to some people, there are very few individuals who advocate berating children, particularly, Sasha and Malia Obama. These individuals include a vast cross section of Americans who regardless of race, or political affiliation, still have a sense of decency. Those who like me believe that children should not be used as political weapons.

BUT WAIT! There's MORE! As it turns out Lauten was arrested for shoplifting when she was 17!!!! Neither Sasha or Malia have EVER been arrested. I guess this is an indication that she came up a little short in the role model department herself. Only a fool who lives in a huge glass house would throw a stone in the computer age. But then again, I guess her hunger for approval, along with her bad judgement, obvious contempt for the Obama's and sheer stupidity caused her to have a bout of amnesia. Lauten did, however, have enough sense to resign, or someone else had enough sense to make her resign.

While this may seem like the ignorant ranting of one individual I believe that this is an indication of a party wide method. The objective is to defame and destroy President Obama by any means necessary. It has already been assumed that he cannot be phased by personal attacks, so every now and then they take aim at his family, none of whom are in politics, or propose policy. But targeting children is abhorant, dispicable, and so far removed from the concept of separating the man and his family from the issues that it reeks of nothing but racism, and resentment the likes of which have never been seen on the American political landscape until the election of an African-American president.

Unarmed White Man Shot & Killed By Police

On August 11th, just 2 days after the shooting of Mike Brown, Officer Bron Cruz shot and killed  20 year old, Dillon Taylor in Salt Lake City, Utah. Taylor was not only unharmed but he is also white! Surprised?! I was when I first heard this story. I have never heard of a case where a white man was shot and killed by police for no apparant reason before this .

The officer has been cleared of all charges.

When I read this story on "DOWNTREND.COM" I quickly realized that the author, Brian Anderson did not pen the article with the intent to shed light on this incident or to expose an obvious injustice. His intentition was to use this young mans death as an excuse to launch an attack. The thread that seemed to run through the piece takes on a rather accusatory tone, instead of lamenting the tragedy. Andersen uses the death of Taylor to not on criticize, and demonize Rev. Al Sharpton, President Obama and the protesters in Ferguson, but the African-American community as a whole for allegedly not being as outraged about Taylor's murder, as they are about the murder of Michael Brown. He even went on to say, in so many words that Michael Brown was indirectly guilty of causing his own death by fighting with Officer Wilson, and Taylor was not so guilty because he did "nothing." This is an insulting, and stupid attempt to imply that no one cares about this shooting just because Taylor is white. But the fact of the matter is that injustice is injustice, and color doesn't matter.

Rhetoric like this is dangerous, polorizing, and serves absolutely no purpose other than to create paranoia.

These are the facts.

The officer actually recorded a bodycam video of the incident. http://youtu.be/o1UjKqzVDCw

While the bodycam video is short, it’s clear to see from the video provided that Taylor did not appear to be threat to the officer. He was shot simply for not following orders; murdered for questioning authority.

The implications of this are chilling, some police officers have an utter disregard for the lives of others, to put it mildly. We should come together and do whatever is necessary to stop fight injustice. Police shootings are not isolated incidences. Police violence is a universal problem faced by many in America, regardless of race.

Minorities are face a much higher rate of police violence, but nearly everyone that is victimized by police and the "war on drugs" are part of the working poor, regardless of race. This is a war on freedom, with racist and classist under tones, which need to be acknowledged, opposed and faught.

The police need to learn that Americans, no matter what their economic class or color, are not their enemies. Police are workers just like the rest of us, however they’ve let themselves become tools of Big Government and the prison industrial complex.

I repeat, INJUSTICE HAS NO COLOR!!
