Happy Birthday Jesus!

What if the meaning of your birthday was lost to your family, and commercialized to make a profit? What if people who didn't even know you, used your special day as an opportunity to take a day off and celebrate in hypocrisy? We would all feel hurt, neglected, ignored and taken for granted. Now imagine being the holy lamb of God sitting at the right hand of the father and having this happen to you.
Most of us can't imagine such a thing. Our birth day's are all about celebrating our birth's and our lives with family and friend's. The focus is on us, and we relish the love, respect and honor that we receive on the one day of the year that is all ours. In return we celebrate the birth day's of those whom we love, cherish, and value.
During this holiday season it is imperative that we do not lose focus on the reason for the season. No one will ever love, cherish of value us more than God!
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Now, that's love. Jesus was born to die. The birth of Jesus marked the beginning of mankind being saved by grace. Whose birthday is more worthy of celebration than his. Jesus is the word of God manifested in the flesh. As we celebrate Christmas we must remember that it's not about Santa Clause, a Christmas Tree or gift's. It's all about Jesus!
