Some Men Can't Take "No"

Nobody likes to be told no. But it is a reality for all of us. Life happens, and as long as life keeps on happening there will be disappointments. Most adults find a way to deal with it, try to impact the circumstances to change the no into a yes, or just get over it. When I say most adults, I'm talking about those of us who are not completely out of their minds. But the fact is some of us are out of our minds. Whether it is a result of never having been rejected, or not knowing how to handle ones emotions there are a growing group of men who resort to violence when they are denied what they believe they deserve. Unfortunately their victims are often women. It's easy to say that these men are crazy, because that's what we always say when anybody does something out of the ordinary. But in a way I think that we let people off too easy when we call them crazy. Many of the people that we think are out of their minds know exactly what they're doing. No matter how depraved their actions, or how insane their acts may seem, they should not me attributed to diminished mental capacity. They should be held responsible and punished for hurting these women and not being man enough to take no for an answer. These are the sad stories of some women who said no to those men.

Jason Eaton went to his girlfriend’s Indiana home last week with an engagement ring, he told police. He planned on proposing to Wendy Sabatini, according to 
court documents.
But Sabatini told Eaton “no” before he even got the question out.
Then, Eaton grabbed a gun, he later told police. Eaton now stands accused in the fatal shooting of Sabatini. Eaton faces a murder charge in connection with Sabatini’s death, a crime authorities say he has confessed to. He planned on proposing to Wendy Sabatini, according to 
court documents.

Eaton walked into the Greensburg police department on Oct. 25 and asked to speak with an officer, according to a probable cause affidavit. He told the officer that he had killed his girlfriend, and authorities went out to check on Sabatini.
“Officers searched the residence and found Sabatini deceased in an upstairs bedroom from an apparent single gunshot wound to the crown of her head,” the documents read. “A firearm located inside the bedroom was found and seized.”
