Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11-18-16)

The first and most important rule of Fight Club is that there is no fight club. But unfortunately low life's don't follow the rules. Parents of toddlers who were enrolled in a daycare in Woodbridge, Virginia are going to need a personal injury lawyer. But the daycare worker in this story is going to need a criminal lawyer because this moron was did the unthinkable.
She started a toddler fight club! This sorry excuse for a human being matched up the kids in her care and forced them to fight one another. These defenseless children were made to fight their way through the day.

A judge found her guilty of more than a dozen abuse charges, including child cruelty, after she started the “baby fight club” with the toddlers in her class. In a horrifying case of abuse, Sarah Jordan was convicted for traumatizing her Minnieland Academy class, full of 16-month to 2-year-old toddlers, and faces 41 years in prison. The Tyler Durden-wannabe’s little tykes fight club was busted after a Sept. 2013 report by the Virginia Department of Social Services accused her of abusing children for at least six months.
The investigation showed Jordan, 31, and fellow teacher Kierra Spriggs would encourage brawls between babies while roughing up some children herself. One witness reported seeing the day care staff’s cruel antics: stomping on toddler’s toes when the babies weren’t wearing shoes, and laughing. During the summer, the report said the twisted teachers targeted toddlers who were afraid of water and dunked them into a portable pool, cackling as the terrified children cried.
They would also blast kids in the face with a powerful hose and dump buckets of water on their heads.Instead of helping toddlers change their dirty diapers, the staff would tell them to “get away and that they stink,” the report stated. Jordan was also accused of feeding children “Flaming Hot Cheetos” and laughing as they reeled from the intense spiciness. During her trial, she denied all of these accusations, but admitted to light water-play with the kids. “I used it to get the children wet, like a sprinkler,” she said.
Jordan’s cruel antics traumatized the toddlers, parents testified at the trial. Parents said the kids turned violent at home, mimicking the monster teacher and stomping on their parents toes. "She would stomp her mom's feet. She would run in and slap us for no apparent reason and start giggling," Adam Smith testified. Some of the children became terrified of water and refused to take baths. Most toddlers cried when they had to go to the center, and it is not apparently clear to me why none of them realized that something was horribly wrong.
Jordan's sentencing will be on May 6, but despite what the judge decides I am sure that there is no place in hell that is hot enough for this evil woman.

WELCOME TO DONALD TRUMP'S AMERICA!
In the days following the election of Donald Trump, there have been may reports of racial violence and harassment, including an incident at Baylor University in which a student was pushed and called the n-word while walking around campus.

In a show of solidarity that should both give us hope and point the way forward, the next day, fellow students made it clear that this won’t be tolerated, banding together to escort Natasha Nkhama to class.
Video of Nkhama describing what happened was posted to Twitter following the incident.
“On my way to class, this guy went out of his way to bump into me and … shove me off the sidewalk,” she said. “He said ‘no n*ggers allowed on the sidewalk’.” He then told her he was “trying to make America great again.” Prompting Nkhama to warn her followers: “So if you voted for Donald Trump, I hope you realize what that means from someone else’s point of view.”

This is one of many stories circulating on social media that seem to indicate the darkest ramifications of Donald Trump’s victory on election night. His most deplorable followers are suddenly emboldened, clearly feeling that by electing Trump, who’s campaign rhetoric was hateful and exclusionary from day one, they’ve been given license to act out their own hateful and racist views.
That’s why it’s heartening to see that more than 300 students flocked to their classmate’s side, some of them singing “Amazing Grace” as they walked, showing the rest of us how to respond when someone else goes low.
And we are grateful for other similar displays we’re seeing across the country, the non-violent demonstrations that show that regardless of the fact that the country is sharply divided, regardless of the fact that a man many of us fear has been elected President, we won’t stop defending the things we believe in. We won’t stop banding together against the forces of intolerance and hate, and we won’t stop fighting for each other.

"An Ape In Heals"

We are officially one week into what I call "The Ominous Age of Trump". The world is spinning on its axis in the opposite direction, the sky is falling, and we have now entered The Twilight Zone. As hard as it is to believe, the feelings of anger and disappointment will subside, and the protests that have been taken place across the country will soon die down, and we'll all have to live in a country "run" by President Tr.........I can't even bring myself to say it. But, the truth is, I think that many of us needed a Trump campaign to shine a light on the American consciousness. Especially those of us who were lulled asleep by the false sense of security we felt because we actually bought into the foolish notion that the election of President Obama meant that we now lived in a post racial America. Those people needed a wake up call, and they got one. The Trump campaign, and the election of Donald Trump brought out the worst in many American's who cast their votes based of racism and fear. People who didn't care about Trump's policies, or lack there of, his sense of decency, or lack there of, or the fact that he lacked the temperament necessary to run not just any country, but the greatest country in the world. Trump's liabilities became his assets and he was able to gain massive support because many American's felt as if they could identify with him. He said what they were afraid to say, and he thinks the way that they think. Donald Trump is the embodiment of racism, insecurity, misogyny, and white rage on a national platform, and now that he is president elect, those who support him feel now feel a boundless sense of freedom. Many of them believe that they can be who they really are because, after all, their brash "leader" has been victorious in doing so. But unlike Trump, these people are not president elect pseudo billionaires who can say and do whatever they please and get away with it. They will all be held accountable.

The director of a state and federal-funded nonprofit in West Virginia has been removed after writing a racist Facebook post referring to first lady Michelle Obama as an “ape in heels.”
Clay County Development Corp. director Pamela Ramsey Taylor wrote the offensive post after Donald Trump was elected president in an exchange that also embroiled the mayor of Clay, a small town near Charleston.
“It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape in heels,” she wrote. I guess in her mind, a white foreign born stripper/nude model is classier, and more dignified than a Harvard educated, scandal free African-American woman.
Clay Mayor Beverly Whaling replied to the comment, “Just made my day Pam.”
Taylor later deleted the post, but screenshots of the exchange have been shared widely on social media and critics began calling for the removal of both officials on Sunday night.
A petition calling for them to be fired has garnered more than 80,000 signatures as of this morning.
Clay County has 8,910 residents, 98.2 percent of whom are white, according to 2015 census data estimates. Two-tenths of 1 percent of residents are black. “More than three-quarters of the presidential votes cast in the county went to Trump,” of course.
Both of the under-fire officials appear to have deleted their Facebook pages. Taylor had earlier posted an apology saying that her message “may be interpreted as racist but was in no way intended to be".
She told local media the backlash against her Facebook post “has been a hate crime against me.” Taylor added that she has has received death threats over her comment. Somebody cue the violins please!
The mayor has also apologized in a statement to The Washington Post:
“My comment was not intended to be racist at all. I was referring to my day being made for change in the White House! I am truly sorry for any hard feeling this may have caused! Those who know me know that I’m not of any way racist!
“Again, I would like to apologize for this getting out of hand!”
Officials said that a town council meeting was already scheduled for today.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11-12-2016)

& THIS IS WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT US OUTSIDE OF THIS COUNTRY!!

A chalkboard sign outside of a café in England is getting some Americans’ knickers in a bunch.
On Nov. 10, Daniel Alpert  tweeted out a photo of a chalkboard sign he saw in Clerkenwell, England, that quickly went viral:
The sign, found in front of Goswell Road Coffee (which is a café, and not a pub), reads: “All Americans must be accompanied by an adult.”
Due to heightened emotions and an overwhelming sense of fear in the U.S. after Donald Trump was elected president this week, many on Twitter weren’t laughing......But I am because the connotation is a directly reflection of the state of this country.....President Tr....................Really?!

It was one sweet surprise, and I am so jealous!!!!!
A Kansas State University student who became an internet star after a hungry theif allegedly stole a Kit Kat bar from his car last week found himself rolling in thousands of free bars, compliments of the candy maker.
Approximately 6,500 bars of the wrapped chocolate wafer were stuffed inside Hunter Jobbins’ car Thursday, allowing all of his classmates a chance to reach inside his Toyota Camry for a sweet treat ― this time with his permission.
And they turned out in droves to eat all of his free candy.

It was one spirited campaign. In more ways than one.
A Southern California man who was running for re-election as Oceanside city treasurer successfully defeated his opponent Tuesday, despite having died over a month ago.......
Gary Ernst, 61, received 6 percentage points more of the vote than his challenger Nadine Scott who had tirelessly worked to inform the public of Ernst’s Sept. 23 death. But most people did not seem to notice or care.
Scott, speaking to NBC 7, said she hopes she will still be appointed to honor the 15,500 people who voted for her. But at least one of her critics has different plans.
Oceanside City Councilman Jerry Kern, who continued to rally the public in support of Ernst after his death, hopes that Scott’s defeat will lead the City Council to appoint someone else.
“Even though Gary passed away, he is still better qualified than she is,” he said
If the city doesn’t appoint someone in Ernst’s place, the other option would be to hold a special election, which ABC 10 News reported would cost the city $500,000.
Scott said Kern is entitled to his own opinion, but argued that she is certainly qualified for the position — especially over someone who is dead.
“I have governmental experience, I have a law degree and a legal background, and I have also been a district treasurer for the last 20 years,” she said. But people to chose to vote for a dead man! Wow

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (11/5/2016)

Noela Rukundo describes her husband's reaction when she appeared at her own funeral, after he hired a team of hit men to kill her. Her husband, Balenga Kalala, is serving nine years in prison for incitement to murder.
Noela Rukundo sat in a car outside her home in Melbourne, Australia, watching as the last few mourners filed out. They were leaving a funeral, her funeral.
Finally, she spotted the man she’d been waiting for. She stepped out of her car, and her husband put his hands on his head in horror.
“Is it my eyes?” she recalled him saying. “Is it a ghost?”
“Surprise! I’m still alive!” she replied.
Far from being elated, the man looked terrified. Five days earlier, he had ordered a team of hit men to kill Rukundo, his wife of 10 years. And they did, well, at least they told him they did. They even got him to pay an extra few thousand dollars for carrying out the crime.
Now here was his wife, standing before him. In an interview Rukundo recalled how he touched her shoulder to find it unnervingly solid. He jumped. Then he started screaming.
“I’m sorry for everything,” he wailed.
But it was far too late for apologies; Rukundo called the police. The husband, Balenga Kalala, ultimately pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine years in prison for incitement to murder.
The happy ending — or as happy as can be expected to a saga in which a man tries to have his wife killed — was made possible by three unusually principled hit men, a helpful pastor and one incredibly gutsy woman: Rukundo.
Here is how she pulled it off.
Rukundo’s ordeal began almost exactly a year ago, when she flew from her home in Melbourne with her husband, Kalala, to attend a funeral in her native Burundi. Her stepmother had died, and the service left her saddened and stressed. She retreated to her hotel room in Bujumbura, the capital, early in the evening; despondent after the events of the day, she lay down in bed. Then her husband called.
“He told me to go outside for fresh air,” she said
But the minute Rukundo stepped out of her hotel, a man charged forward, pointing a gun right at her.
“Don’t scream,” she recalled him saying. “If you start screaming, I will shoot you. They’re going to catch me, but you? You will already be dead.”
Rukundo, terrified, did as she was told. She was ushered into a car and blindfolded so she couldn’t see where she was being taken. After 30 or 40 minutes, the car came to a stop, and Rukundo was pushed into a building and tied to a chair.
She could hear male voices, she said. One asked her, “You woman, what did you do for this man to pay us to kill you?”
“What are you talking about?” Rukundo demanded.
“Balenga sent us to kill you.”
They were lying. She told them so. And they laughed.
“You’re a fool,” they told her.
There was the sound of a dial tone, and a male voice coming through a speakerphone. It was her husband’s voice.
“Kill her,” he said.
And Rukundo fainted.
Rukundo had met her husband 11 years earlier, right after she arrived in Australia from Burundi. He was a recent refugee from Congo, and they had the same social worker at the resettlement agency that helped them get on their feet. Since Kalala already knew English, their social worker often recruited him to translate for Rukundo, who spoke Swahili.
They fell in love, moved in together in the Melbourne suburb of Kings Park, and had three children (Rukundo also had five kids from a previous relationship). She learned more about her husband’s past — he had fled a rebel army that had ransacked his village, killing his wife and young son. She also learned more about his character.
“I knew he was a violent man,” Rukundo said. “But I didn’t believe he can kill me.”
But, it appeared, he could.
Rukundo came to in the strange building somewhere near Bujumbura. The kidnappers were still there, she said.
They weren’t going to kill her, the men then explained — they didn’t believe in killing women, and they knew her brother. But they would keep her husband’s money and tell him that she was dead. After two days, they set her free on the side of a road, but not before giving her a cellphone, recordings of their phone conversations with Kalala, and receipts for the $7,000 in Australian dollars they allegedly received in payment, according to an Austrailian newspaper.
“We just want you to go back, to tell other stupid women like you what happened,” Rukundo said she was told before the gang members drove away.
Shaken, but alive and doggedly determined, Rukundo began plotting her next move. She sought help from the Kenyan and Belgian embassies to return to Australia. Then she called the pastor of her church in Melbourne, and explained to him what had happened. Without alerting Kalala, the pastor helped her get back home to her neighborhood near Melbourne.
Meanwhile, her husband had told everyone she had died in a tragic accident and the entire community mourned her at her funeral at the family home. On the night of Feb. 22, 2015, just as the widower Kalala waved goodbye to neighbors who had come to comfort him, Rukundo approached him, the very man whose voice she’d heard over the phone five days earlier, ordering that she be killed.

“I felt like somebody who had risen again,” she said
Though Kalala initially denied all involvement, Rukundo got him to confess to the crime during a phone conversation that was secretly recorded by police.
“Sometimes Devil can come into someone, to do something, but after they do it they start thinking, ‘Why I did that thing?’ later,” he said, as he begged her to forgive him.
Kalala eventually pleaded guilty to the scheme. He was sentenced to nine years in prison by a judge in Melbourne.
“Had Ms. Rukundo’s kidnappers completed the job, eight children would have lost their mother,” Chief Justice Marilyn Warren said. “It was premeditated and motivated by unfounded jealousy, anger and a desire to punish Ms. Rukundo.”
Rukundo said that Kalala tried to kill her because he thought she was going to leave him for another man, an accusation she denies.

But unfortunately her trials are not yet over. Oddly enough, Rukundo said that she’s gotten backlash from Melbourne’s Congolese community for reporting Kalala to the police. Someone left threatening messages for her, and she returned home one day to find her back door broken. She now has eight children to raise alone and has asked the Department of Human Services to help her find a new place to live.
And sometimes while shes lying in bed at night she can still her Kalalas voice: “Kill her, kill her,” she said. “Every night, I see what was happening in those two days with the kidnappers.”
Despite all that, “I will stand up like a strong woman,” she said. “My situation, my past life? That is gone. I’m starting a new life now.”

There are 8 million stories in the naked city! This is one!
An unemployed mother of four says she is suing Resorts World Casino in Queens, New York City, after a slot machine indicated she won $43 million ― but all she got was a steak dinner. I'm not exactly sure why an unemployed mother of four would be wasting her money in a casino. But that ain't none of my business!!!!!!
“I feel like they did me real dirty,” Katrina Bookman told the New York Daily News in a story published Wednesday.
In August, Bookman thought she had won the life-changing jackpot on the slot when a message on the monitor said, “Printing Cash Ticket. $43, 949, 672.76.” She took a selfie with her glowing face next to the words.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Bookman said. “My body went numb.”
That’s when the stunning reversal of fortune began, according to WABC. Casino personnel and security escorted her off the floor and told her to return the next day for the decision regarding her jackpot, she said.
When Bookman returned, a casino rep told her she had won nothing because the machine malfunctioned............ (A message on all machines states, “malfunctions void all pays and plays.”) In lieu of a lifetime of security, she was offered a freak'in  steak dinner. She declined.
“The machine takes your money when you lose. It ought to pay it when you win,” her attorney, Alan Ripka, told the station.
Ripka said the casino should at least dole out the Sphinx machine’s supposed maximum payout, $6,500.
The New York State Gaming Commission said that Bookman has a right to just $2.25 in winnings.

And lastly, a special message from the sweet tooth bandit........

Some Men Can't Take "No"

Nobody likes to be told no. But it is a reality for all of us. Life happens, and as long as life keeps on happening there will be disappointments. Most adults find a way to deal with it, try to impact the circumstances to change the no into a yes, or just get over it. When I say most adults, I'm talking about those of us who are not completely out of their minds. But the fact is some of us are out of our minds. Whether it is a result of never having been rejected, or not knowing how to handle ones emotions there are a growing group of men who resort to violence when they are denied what they believe they deserve. Unfortunately their victims are often women. It's easy to say that these men are crazy, because that's what we always say when anybody does something out of the ordinary. But in a way I think that we let people off too easy when we call them crazy. Many of the people that we think are out of their minds know exactly what they're doing. No matter how depraved their actions, or how insane their acts may seem, they should not me attributed to diminished mental capacity. They should be held responsible and punished for hurting these women and not being man enough to take no for an answer. These are the sad stories of some women who said no to those men.

These 14 Women Were Brutally Attacked for Rejecting Men — Why Aren't We Talking About It?Jason Eaton went to his girlfriend’s Indiana home last week with an engagement ring, he told police. He planned on proposing to Wendy Sabatini, according to
court documents.
But Sabatini told Eaton “no” before he even got the question out.
Then, Eaton grabbed a gun, he later told police. Eaton now stands accused in the fatal shooting of Sabatini. Eaton faces a murder charge in connection with Sabatini’s death, a crime authorities say he has confessed to. He planned on proposing to Wendy Sabatini, according to

Eaton walked into the Greensburg police department on Oct. 25 and asked to speak with an officer, according to a probable cause affidavit. He told the officer that he had killed his girlfriend, and authorities went out to check on Sabatini.
