WRONG IS WRONG, even if you say it's right!

I've written a little over 700 articles on a little over 700 different things. Some good, and some not so good. But always interesting. This particular story is by far the most obecene, the most perverse, and the most sickening tale that I have ever read. I guess because the combination, implication, and out right admission is just inconceivable. So much so that I have been holding on to this story for two weeks..........

“Vertasha and I knew we were attracted to each other when she was sixteen,” Mary Carter said.

“But we decided to wait to have sex until she was eighteen, legally of age. We are now going public with our relationship to help others who might be in gay mother/daughter relationship feel confident and okay about coming out. We want the world to know we love each other as mother and daughter and romantically.”

Yes, you read this right!

Laws forbid incest mostly because of inbreeding and the birth defects that can often come as a consequence. Not to mention the fact that it is of the devil.

“We’re women, so Vertasha  and I obviously can’t make children,” Mary Carter said. “It’d be one thing if her daddy (he’s out of the picture) got her pregnant and a baby was born with deformities, but we’re not hurting anyone. We’re a new minority and just want acceptance.”

There in lyes the problem with this woman and people like her. They are under the false assumption that they should be accepted now matter how they decide to live their lives. These people confuse acceptance with advocacy.

Vertasha is apparently happy with the relationship as well.

“My mom is still my mom. She does normal mom stuff: buys me clothes, pays for food, tells me to make our bed. We just happen to enjoy sex with each other too.” This poor girl is being abused and she doesn't even know it.

Give Me That Cell Phone NOW!

Three Collingdale, Pennsylvania, police officers are facing a lawsuit accusing them of unlawful arrest, malicious prosecution, retaliatory arrest and unlawful search after barging into a home to confiscate a cellphone that was being used to record one officer’s aggressive behavior.

Michael and Kia Gaymon, 35 and 38 years old respectively, also included the borough of Collingdale in the lawsuit.

According to the report, it started with a neighbor calling the police after Michael Gaymon’s mother came for a visit and partially parked her car on the neighbor’s curb Feb. 22. Three officers arrived, and one officer allegedly began to yell at the husband and wife in an “aggressive and accusatory manner” and accused them of spitting on their neighbor. The couple told the officer that was a false accusation.

“His behavior was so aggressive, and so frightening that the first thing I thought was to pull out my phone and video,” Kia Gaymon said. According to Kia, the officer came within inches of her husband’s face and screamed at him. So she started to record the incident as she stood outside the front door with her cellphone in hand. It was then that the officer noticed her and told her to stop.

“He told me that if I continued to video, he was going to come in my house and confiscate my phone and place me under arrest,” Kia Gaymon told the local media.

The officer allegedly claimed, the lawsuit notes, that it was illegal to record him. However, the family, along with the couple’s 21-year-old daughter, Sanshuray Purnell, told him he was wrong and it was their right to record him. The officer then told Kia Gaymon that he would enter her house and confiscate the phone and arrest her if she did not stop.

When she refused to comply, the officer allegedly made good on his threat, handcuffing the couple’s daughter and threatening to use a Taser on her.

After another officer took Purnell away, the officer who had handcuffed Purnell allegedly entered the family’s home, even as they asked him to leave, and grabbed Kia Gaymon, pressing his Taser up against her chest, the lawsuit claimed.

“I panicked,” Kia Gaymon recalled. “I was scared.”

She, too, was arrested. Both Gaymon and her daughter were given citations for disorderly conduct.

Cellphone footage taken of the arrests shows the Gaymons’ 10-year-old son screaming and crying in terror as the police take his mother and sister away.

“The actions that are described in the citation are for videoing the officer,” the family’s attorney, Jonathan Fienberg said. “It’s not a crime.”

In May charges against the mother and daughter were dismissed.

This is an obvious abuse of power. This officer saw fit to violate the sanctity of this family's home in a misguided attempt to defend his own "right" not to be recorded. A right that he didn't even have. But hypothetically speaking even if he did have the right not to be recorded while acting as an agent of this particular municipality, the most disturbing part of his actions is the fact that he felt that his "rights" superceded everyone else's. Being a police officer does not mean that he has more or less freedom than those who are not police officers. But it has become increasingly apparent that many officers have a sense of superiority that allows them to violate the civil liberties of the citizenry at will. This cannot, will not, and must not be tolerated. If those who have sworn to protect us choose to victimize us, then who will protect us from them?

Why Won't The President Fire Them??

Those of us who are honest with our feet firmly rooted in reality, realize, recognize, and understand the fact that President Obama is the most wanted African-American man in America.....most wanted dead!

With that being said, you would think that he would have the tightest security on the planet. Instead there are randim psychos and EDP's (emotionally disturbed people), running across the White House lawn as if there were no snipers on the roof who were supposed to shoot them.

Why won't the president fire them all?!

When a man carrying a knife was able to jump the fence and sprint into the front door of the White House, many said it was symptomatic of larger issues with the "Not So Secret Service". A fascinating piece yesterday in the Washington Post made it clear just how true that is, recounting how it took four days for the Secret Service to realize that someone had fired shots at the White House and that seven bullets had struck the upstairs residence in 2011. President Obama and The First Lady were out of town at the time but their younger daughter Sasha was at home with their Grandmother mother, and Malia was expected back home any minute.

When Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, a man who appeared increasingly paranoid about the U.S. government and seemingly obsessed with how President Obama “had to be stopped,” fired his semiautomatic rifle out of his car, Secret Service agents were quick to respond. But they were told to stand down, with superiors saying no shots had actually been fired. Even though agents seemed to know that was clearly not true, a pair of agents said they could smell gunpowder while another had heard debris fall from the Truman balcony—they stayed quiet, apparently out of fear of angering their superiors. In the end the conclusion was that two rival gangs had gotten into a gunfight near the White House lawn.

It was only when a housekeeper found a broken window and a piece of concrete days later that agents began to realize what had happened. The president and first lady were understandably furious. Once the Secret Service actually started investigating, they quickly realized this was no small matter, finding $97,000 worth of damage. At the time, Ortega’s arrest did receive attention but all of the problems with the investigation—and the potential danger to the first family—had been kept under wraps. The way it is coming to light now suggests some powerful people want to speed up changes at the agency that has suffered numerous embarrassments in recent years.

Ortega-Hernandez was sentenced to 25 years in prison earlier this-year for what his lawyers described as a "misguided effort to make the public aware of what he believed to be the coming Armageddon."

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (9-27-2014)

If you live in Brooklyn, New York and you haven't been getting your mail this may be why.

A New York City postal carrier is accused of failing to deliver more than 40,000 pieces of mail, some dating to 2005.......

According to a federal court complaint, Joseph Brucato hoarded the mail at his home, car and post office locker. He was arrested Wednesday after a supervisor noticed undelivered mail piled up in Brucato's personal vehicle.

The 67-year-old Brucato was arraigned Wednesday and released on his own recognizance.

Magistrate Vera Scanlon ordered him to "abstain from excessive alcohol consumption."

Sure blame it on the alcohol!

Brucato's attorney says his client suffered from depression.

Step 2. Blame it on depression!

Authorities say about 2,500 pounds of U.S. mail postmarked as far back as 2005 was recovered.

Brucato's route included businesses and residences in Brooklyn's Flatbush section.

It should be a crime to be this lazy, crazy and stupid. Thinking without a brain should be a felony offense!

A man accused of attempting to rob a southern California grocery store apparently cased the joint in the most lazy way possible, on a motorized scooter.

Surveillance video of the Sept. 18 robbery at a Food4Less in Santa Ana, California, allegedly shows the suspect, later identified as Antonio Delgado Juarez tooling around the store on a courtesy scooter for 15 minutes..........

At some point, the suspect decided to end the joyride. He jumped off the scooter, grabbed the store manager in a chokehold and robbed the supermarket.

"He grabs him really hard and puts him in a chokehold and then places whatever object, we can't really see in this video, appears to be something next to his throat," Santa Ana Police Corporal Anthony Bertagna told the station. "The manager believes that he has a weapon and that's why he does what he's told."

Juarez allegedly forced the manager into the front office and demanded his backpack be filled with cash. He also ordered the manager to hand over the car keys to his silver 2001 Toyota Echo.

Juarez drove off, but didn't get too far.

Although he was identified as the scooter-driving suspect on Thursday, he had been arrested on Monday for burglary, battery and possession of burglary tools in an unrelated case. He was charged with commercial robbery and carjacking in connection with the grocery store robbery.

The managers car is still missing.
I wonder if they checked is pockets. It is a tiny Toyota Echo.

Before you read this story think about 2 things. 1. The truth is stranger than fiction, and  2. If her face is any indication of how........"beefy" the rest of her body is, I totally believe it!

A 19-year-old in Johnson County, North Carolina, is facing felony charges after allegedly leading officers on a chase that reached speeds of upwards of 100 MPH.

Her excuse, according to officers, was simple: Her foot got stuck on the gas pedal.

Sheriff's deputies first spotted Star Shields Williams around 10:30 p.m. last Monday, when she was allegedly speeding in a red Ford Mustang.

The deputy tried to get Williams to pull over, but, instead, the car allegedly spedup while deputies followed it along for a while before Williams finally stopped the car on the side of the road, My Fox 8.

That's when officers say she told them about her stuck foot.

Shields was arrested and charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest, reckless driving, speeding, failure to stop for a light or siren, and driving left of center, according to ABC Chicago 7.

She remains in the Johnson County Jail on $36,000 bond.

She Put A Baby In The Trunk!!

Some women shouldn't be anybody's mother. End of story!

Breona Watkins, 19, was slapped with a laundry list of charges, child abuse without great bodily harm, resisting an officer without violence, operating without a valid driver’s license, and no safety belt for a passenger under 18, after police reportedly found her crying 5-month-old infant in the trunk of her car.

Why would the infant be in the trunk, you ask?

The Broward County mom allegedly claimed she didn’t have a car seat.

The Broward County Sheriff’s department alleges that when they attempted to pull Watkins over that she would not stop.  When the woman finally did come to a stop, deputies approached her vehicle and as they were questioning her, they heard a baby crying. The sound was coming from trunk of the vehicle.

According to the police report, Watkins had allegedly asked her 14-year-old niece, who was a rear passenger in the vehicle to slide the infant through a back seat panel into the trunk area.  Watkins reportedly feared receiving a ticket for not having her child in an infant seat.

But she had no fear of the child being injured in the trunk!

When deputies opened the trunk area and saw the child, it had been lying next to hedge clippers and surrounded by such flammable and perilous objects as a gas can!

Watkins was taken into custody and given a $7,000 bond.

The infant was reportedly handed over to the Department of Children and Families, and is expected to be given to Watkins’ mother or grandmother pending further investigation.

And Just When You Thought The NYPD Couldn't Sink Any Lower........

......In an act of extreme depraved indifference, and savagery an NYPD officer was caught on a disturbing video tackling a clearly pregnant woman and riding her to the ground like a wild animal early Saturday in Brooklyn, New York.

http://youtu.be/xka6ULvDYtk

The recording shows Sandra Amezquita, who is a diminutive 5-foot four inches tall and five months pregnant, being grabbed by the arm and thrown to the pavement with the cop on her back in Sunset Park at around 2:15 a.m.

The baby’s father, Ronel Lemos, said he watched in horror as his wife hit the ground belly-first.

“The first thing I thought was they killed my baby and they’re going to kill my wife,” Lemos, 50, told the local media on Tuesday.

Moments later, another unidentified woman was violently flung to the ground on Fifth Ave. and 41st St.

“You would think the police would respect a woman that is pregnant,” Amezquita, 43, said through an interpreter in an exclusive interview.

“I was afraid something happened to my baby. I am still afraid that something is wrong,” she said, referring to a persistent abdominal pain that she's had since the assault.

Amezquita suffered vaginal bleeding after the incident, and her belly and arm still bear bruises.

She was given a summons for disorderly conduct and her husband was arrested for assaulting a police officer, cops said.

The officer is the second cop from the 72nd Precinct in a week to be under investigation by the NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau after getting caught on video.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton suspend a cop last week after being caught on camera kicking a street vendor on Fifth Ave. in Sunset Park as he was being subdued by fellow officers.

Sanford Rubenstein, a civil rights lawyer retained by Amezquita and Lemos, said both videos depicting alleged police brutality were recorded by the same bystander.

“It is incidents like this that account for police-community relations being at an all-time low in New York City,” Rubenstein said.

The cops were arresting the couple’s 17-year-old son, Jhohan Lemos, for possession of a knife clipped to his belt, when the cops were attacked.

The parents said they were responding to cries from their son being beaten when they were set upon by the cops.

Jhohan’s face appears battered and his right eye swollen shut in photos taken after his arrest.

Ronel Lemos was charged with striking Officer Elvis Merizalde in the back and shoulder while he was arresting Jhohan, according to the criminal complaint.

Amezquita, the mother of four children, emigrated from Colombia and recently stopped working.

The couple has already selected a name for the unborn baby boy — Kevin.

While getting into a physical altercation with the notoriously violent NYPD during an arrest while being 5 months pregnant is probably not one of the greatest idea's in the world, there is no reason why Sandra Amezquita should have been brutalized.

This is just another example of the blatant disrespect, and disregard that these police officer's have for the very people that they have sworn to protect.

No Work, No Reward.

When we were children our desires directly contradicted rational thinking. Our under developed minds assumed that our wishes should and would automatically be fullfilled just because we wanted them to. During childhood we have little concept as to what preparation is all about. But eventually we grow out of it. Allegedly. Unfortunately there is still a small contingent of adults who don't realize, recognize, and understand that minimum effort does not equal a maximum result. Too many of us spend time praying, wishing, hoping, and doing nothing more. But prayer requires faith. Faith requires effort, and hope is the common thread. If any one of these elements is missing your desires are nothing more than fantasies lost at sea drifting further and further away. It is virtually impossible to do little or nothing and expect to get something.

Part Time Christian's

Each and everything we own needs maintainence in order for it to operate at it's full capacity. When we talk about maintanence we usually speak in reference to things that are mechanical, such as cars appliances, or even buildings. But our souls, and our minds also require a certain amount of work to run and operate at maximum capacity. But how do we keep our minds and souls at peak performing condition? The first step actually sounds a lot easier than it really is. We have to have the desire. Claiming that you are a Christian, and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior is nothing more than lip service if your words and your deeds do not reflect what your mouth is saying. It's like washing and waxing a car without an engine. It looks good. But what drives it? How does it operate, and why is it presented as if it is anything but empty? So is the human spirit without effort, action, and deed. Many of us call ourselves Christians but fall victim to the same jealousy, envy, and vain glory that we found out in the world, choosing to love our brothers and sisters when they are easy for us to love. When they're down and going through we offer our love and support, and when they're up we fall victim to thoughts of audaciousness. Not realizing that those who are up sometimes need just as much support as those who are down.
But some of us are fair weather Christians, quick to offer an umbrella to shield you from the rain. But slow to celebrate with you when the storm is over. Especially if they're still in the midst of theirs.
Every now and then it is good to do a self check up. Ask yourself before you do what you're about to do or say what you're about to say if it is an adequit reflection, or representation of the God in you, or if it's just your flesh trying to talk over. Stop and think about what Jesus would do, and then train your mind to stay on him.
It is not enough just to say that you know him!

9 Year Old Murdered.....

The following story is a prime example of what can happen when we act in anger. Immaturity played a part in the outcome of this tragedy. But whether they were 9, 19, or 90, simply thinking about or considering the consequences of their actions could have been saved them.

Nine-year-old Antonio Smith stormed out of his family’s apartment on Chicago’s South Side in a fit of anger when his mother refused to get him a cupcake on a hot summer day in August.

When he left his parent's apartment he encountered a group of men driving around in two vehicles in search of rival gang members. When they reached the back yard of a home, one of the men saw Antonio, believed he was warning the rivals, and he began firing, hitting the boy several times in the back and side, Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy told reporters.

The alleged teenage shooter, Derrick Allmon, 19, was about 10 feet away from Antonio when the fatal shots were fired, the report says. The teen reportedly tossed the gun into a nearby sewer and ran away.

“This didn’t have to happen,” McCarthy said as he announced charges in Antonio’s death.

Besides Allmon, three others were charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 20 shooting: Jabari Williams, 22; Michael Baker, 19; and Paris Denard, 19.

McCarthy  told reporters that Allmon had been released from prison in early August after serving 18 months for possession of a loaded weapon. Corrections officials said Allmon served 21 months, the paper says.

“Unfortunately this tragic murder is yet one more example of the strife being caused by gangs and guns in our community,” McCarthy said. “But the real kicker to this entire case is that it didn’t have to happen. He should not have been on the street to commit this murder.”

Had Derrick Allmon not decided to open fire on a child that he perceived to be his enemy Antonio Smith would still be alive today. Had Antonio Smith not stormed out of his parents house in a fit of rage over a cupcake, he would not put himself in the line of fire.

With that being said, ultimately, the criminal justice system failed both of these young men. The one who was murdered, and the one who was not sufficiently made to pay for his crime in the past.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (9-20-2014)

Their is nothing like a heart warming story!

All Daniel Nickerson of Foxboro, Mass., wants for his sixth birthday Friday are cards. So far, the little boy with an inoperable brain tumor has received thousands upon thousands.

The family has been tracking the influx of packages on its Facebook page Danny's Warriors.

"Todays total rough count was a little over 8500 cards and 900 packages!!! We filled the uhaul completely up! And then filled 3 cars too!" the family posted on Facebook this week. "We are in awe of all of this, we are speechless and dont have enough words to explain how thankful we are for everyone of you! And all the love that you have shown us and continue to show us!"

This kid got more mail than Santa Clause!

People overwhelmingly sent well wishes to the address, PO Box 212 Foxboro, MA 02035, with messages of support and hope.

Nickerson was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma in 2013.

I guess you can never be too good at your job! Or, can you?

This trained rescue dog got a little carried away when it saw a child trying to go for a swim.

The kid, who was in no danger, looks seriously annoyed by the unnecessary rescue, maybe because summer is almost over and there are not many good swim days left.

But when a rescue dog decides playtime is over, playtime is over.

Guess who won't make it to Sesame Street!

A costumed performer dressed as Elmo was arrested Tuesday night in New York's Times Square.

Ten plainclothes police officers posingastourists took photos with the character. She was taken into custody after demanding cash for the photos.

The suspect, Rosa Sanchez, 37, has been charged with aggressive solicitation.

Time Warner Cable asks me for a lot of money once a month and nobody had charged them!

Tipping costumed characters in Times Square is required and the NYPD is cracking down on performers who demand money in a sting called Operation Sesame Street.

Because God news knows if they don't arrest imaginary characters New York will cease to exist as we know it!

A proposed law requiring the performers to get licenses could soon regulate the industry. The proposal came after several costumed performers reportedly groped and assaulted tourists. One big blue character was seen grabbing women's butts in Times Square and yelling "COOKIES"!

She Ate The Dog........

WARNING: What you're about to read is not for the faint of heart........

A twisted California man allegedly prone to domestic violence is accused of killing his girlfriend’s dog and feeding her the remains.

The relationship between the unidentified girlfriend and the accused, Ryan Eddy Watenpaugh was described by Redding police as “volitile". The woman told police that after being physically abused during the first week of August by Watenpaugh, she fled her apartment and returned to find her pet Pomeranian, Bear, missing. The couple eventually reconciled during the first week of September when Watenpaugh served the woman a meal that included "special meat".

Police said Watenpaugh soon made it clear to the woman that the meat was Bear, her beloved dog. The following text messages was allegedly sent from Watenpaugh to the woman:

“How’s your dog taste? I thought it was better with BBQ and those Hawaiian buns.”

“I guess u could bury what u didn’t eat.”

“The smile on my face as you read this...priceless.”

Watenpaugh also allegedly left a small bag at the woman’s home with a note that read, “I hate you so much it hurts. I want nothing to do with you. F--- you.” The victim told police two dog paws were inside the bag.

Watenpaugh was arrested two days later and charged with domestic violence, false imprisonment, stalking and animal cruelty. Police said he has since admitted to sending the messages and dog paws, but denied killing or cooking Bear.

He’s being held on a $250,000 bail in the Shasta County jail.

A Teacher And.......A Pedophile #middleschoolteacherhassexwithstudent

This perverse story has repeated itself more times than I can recall, and it never becomes easier to understand. We trust our children's teacher's to instruct and nurture them in our absence. But those who are not fit to be teacher's violate the trust that we put in our local school systems. The behavior is shocking disturbing, and criminal. The worst part is that the victims are getting younger and younger.

Bridgett Szychulski, 31, a married teacher with a 4-year-old child and another on the way, faces a litany of sexual assault charges stemming from three encounters with the student in her car and at school. Bail was set at a paltry $500,000.

The suspended Central Bucks South High School teacher was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and statutory sexual assault.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office alleges Szychulski initiated a relationship with the middle school boy by texting lewd photos that led to at least three sexual encounters between January and June 2012. They had sex in Szychulski's car, at her Lenape Middle School office in Doylestown and in a storage closet near the band room, according to local media sources.

A criminal investigation was launched last week after a tip to the Pennsylvania Child Abuse Hotline and Szychulski was suspended from her job Friday.

"This is a criminal prosecution and, as such, the appropriate primary information source is the District Attorney's Office," Central Bucks Schools Superintendent David Weitzel said in an email to parents. "However, I can report that upon learning of the alleged incident the teacher was immediately suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. She is also prohibited until further notice from coming onto school district property or having any contact with any Central Bucks School District students."

Thank God!

Szychulski was a middle school teacher at the time of the illicit relationship. The boy, now 16, recently texted her to say he told a friend of the affair.

I hope that this woman's husband gets a paternity test down. You never know!

To Spank Or Not a To Spank?

As parents we must stand by our principals!

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson said Monday that he is "not a perfect parent, but I am, without a doubt, not a child abuser."

Peterson quickly posted $15,000 in bail and was released, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

In his first comments on the case, the reinstated NFL star told fans in a writtenstatement posted on his Twitter feed, "I never imagined being in a position where the world is judging my parenting skills or calling me a child abuser because of the discipline I administered to my son."

And he shouldn't be.

Despite being advised by his attorney not to discuss details of the case, Peterson wrote, "I want everyone to understand how sorry I feel about the hurt I have brought to my child."

He said that he voluntarily appeared before a grand jury and told its members the same thing, which also matches what he said he told two different police agencies about the incident.

"I will say the same thing once I have my day in court," he wrote.

In disciplining his son in the same manner as Peterson himself was disciplined as a child, he wrote, he unintentionally caused the boy injury. He understands that there are people who disagree with this form of discipline, he said, and he has met with a psychologist who informed him of more "appropriate" ways to discipline children.

"But deep in my heart I have always believed I could have been one of those kids that was lost in the streets without the discipline instilled in me by my parents and other relatives," he wrote. "I have always believed that the way my parents disciplined me has a great deal to do with the success I have enjoyed as a man. I love my son and I will continue to become a better parent and learn from any mistakes I ever make."

He closed his statement by saying that while he isn't the perfect parent, he is not a child abuser.

"My goal is always to teach my son right from wrong and that's what I tried to do that day," he wrote. "I accept the fact that people feel very strongly about this issue and what they think about my conduct. Regardless of what others think, however, I love my son very much and I will continue to try to become a better father and person."

General manager Rick Spielman said more information about the incident was available to the Vikings then the team had on Friday when it placed Peterson, a six-time Pro Bowler in his first seven seasons, on the inactive list.

"This is a difficult path to navigate regarding the judgment of how a parent disciplines his child," Spielman told reporters. "Based on the extensive information that we have right now, and what we know about Adrian not only as a person but what he has also done for this community, we believe he deserves to play while this legal process.

Peterson allegedly "abused" another one of his children, a 4-year-old son.

Sources said that the mother of the child filed a complaint with Child Protective Services in Texas because she alleged that Peterson beat the child, while visiting his father at his Houston-area home.

According to the report, text messages between Peterson and the boy's mother show that Peterson admitted disciplining the child, but he claims the child hit his head on the car seat in the process.

No charges were ever filed.

Through his attorney Rusty Hardin, Peterson vehemently denied the report.

"The allegation of another investigation into Adrian Peterson is simply not true. This is not a new allegation. It's one that is unsubstantiated and was shopped around to authorities in two states over a year ago and nothing came of it," Hardin said. "An adult witness adamantly insists Adrian did nothing inappropriate with his son."

One of the team's sponsors, the Radisson hotel chain, announced Monday night that it was suspending its "limited sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings while we evaluate the facts and circumstances."

Peterson's attorney has said his client used "a switch to spank his son" and was simply doling out discipline much like "he experienced as a child growing up in East Texas."

Peterson "will continue to insist on his innocence of any intended wrongdoing," Hardin said Friday.

Photos obtained by TMZ allegedly show Peterson's son's leg covered in marks that could have come from a switch, or thin tree branch. Some of the marks in the photo appeared to have broken the skin.

"The photos are disturbing, I understand that. But to be clear, you know any matter that's involving the child is very important for this organization. But we also think that it is right for him to go through the process legally," Spielman said.

Peterson allegedly sent text messages to the boy's mother in Minnesota after the lashing.

Peterson wrote he "felt bad after the fact when I notice the switch was wrapping around hitting his thigh."

Another text was more graphic.

"Got him in the nuts once I noticed," it read, "But I felt so bad, n i'm all tearing that butt up when needed! I start putting them in timeout. N save the whooping for needed memories!"

The station said a later message from Peterson was: "Never do I go overboard! But all my kids will know, hey daddy has the biggie heart but don't play no games when it comes to acting right.

Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Phil Grant, whose office made the case against Peterson to a grand jury over a period of weeks, said prosecutors "will take this charge extremely seriously and we look forward to presenting this case to a jury."

The next step is a preliminary court hearing that is scheduled for October 8. Grant said he expected Peterson to be there, although the decision is up to a judge.

According to Texas law, people can be convicted of injury to a child if they cause bodily or mental injury "intentionally, knowingly, recklessly or with criminal negligence" or cause such harm by omission. The crime is punishable by up to two years in a state jail and a $1,000 fine.

In Texas, someone can defend himself against a charge of injury to a child if he can prove it happened while he was administering "reasonable discipline," Grant said.

"Obviously, parents are entitled to discipline their children as they see fit, except for when that discipline exceeds what the community would say is reasonable," he said. "And so, a grand jury, having indicted this case, looked at the injuries that were inflicted upon this child and determined that that discipline was not reasonable."

As the NFL reviews the running back's actions under its personal conduct policy, the Vikings owners said they will "monitor the situation closely."

Referring to the decision to keep Peterson out of Sunday's game, the Vikings owners, who are brothers, said, "On Friday, we felt it was in the best interests of the organization to step back, evaluate the situation, and not rush to judgment given the seriousness of this matter. At that time, we made the decision that we felt was best for the Vikings and all parties involved."

Peterson is considered one of the best running backs in the NFL -- if not the best. His absence was probably felt during the Vikings' 30-7 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

In 2011, he agreed to a lucrative contract, which NFL.com reported would be worth $100 million over a 7-year period.

Parents should have the right to reasonably discipline their children. POINT BLANK!

Is Ben Carson The New Herman Cain?

As much as we'd love to forget him, we all remember Hermain Cain, the former CEO of a mediocre pizza chain who became the token conservative for the Republican Party. Like the rest of America I was never really sure what his purpose was, and his slow implosion do to the fact that he turned out to be a skirt chasing philanderer was nothing short of cringe worthy to say the least. At first I thought that the Republican's dug this guy up in a missguided attempt to create an African-American foil for the President, but if Cain was any less tactful, and anymore under qualified he'd be Sarah Palin. Surely the conservative strategy could not have been so short sighted, that they believed that Cain would be a challenge to Barack Obama just by virtue of his skin color? This question is rhetorical of course, because the answer is unequivocally yes.
Recently a brand new Herman Cain has emerged, Dr. Ben Carson, a retired, world renown neuro-surgeon from Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Carson is one of the most respected physicians in the world and his story represents such a triumph of the American spirit that it inspired a TV movie about his life.
I have a great deal of respect for Dr. Carson's accomplishments. But as I have watched him slowly work his way into a possible Republican nomination, my respect for him as a man has begun to fade. Firstly I have a difficult time understanding how an African-American could align himself with anything that remotely resembles a conservative ideology. But I also understand why. Those who were some of the poorest among us who managed to raise themselves up, feel that if they can achieve such lofty heights, anyone can. This is the psychology behind the reasoning of those who've managed to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps".
Dr. Carson was raised by a single mother in the poorest of conditions, and he beat the odds. But his being blessed enough to achieve his goals does not mean that he is the rule. He is in fact the exception, and just because he is the acception, it does not mean that he should forget where he came from. These are just a few of his comments.

“When you rob someone of their incentive to go out there and improve themselves, you are not doing them any favors. When you take someone and pat someone on their head and say there there, you poor little thing… I am going to give you food stamps… let me give you housing subsidy… let me give you free health care… and because you cannot do that and those people over there that are causing half of problem."
And my personal favorite

"Obama Care is the worst thing to happen to this nation since slavery."

As if he never had any help, and anything is comparable to slavery!!

Dr. Carson is not the first successful African-American to succumb to Stockholm Syndrome, and unfortunately he will not be the last. Stockholm Syndrome is a legitimate psychological condition in which a hostage identifies with their captors after being held captive for a lengthy amount of time. So much so that they actually begin to take on the identity and value system of those who have damaged their psyche.

Just this morning I heard a comment that Dr. Carson made to a conservative commentator in reference to women being physically abused. According to Dr. Carson this may not actually be a problem in America at all, despite vast amounts of data that suggest the contrary.
It seems that perhaps the best thing about Ben Carson is that he is headed down the road to implosion just like Herman Cain, but where as Cain thought with the wrong head, and had bad ideas, Carson is thinking with the right head and is still having bad ideas. I hope that the next "token negro" that the Republican Party decides to prop up at least makes compelling arguments that don't sound entirely insane.

#blackactressmistakenforprostitute

Brave, that's the first word that comes to mind whenever I see an interractial couple. Relationships are not easy to begin with. So to make the conscious decision to engage in one that is still considered taboo by many here in "progressive" America is quite admirable. I cannot honestly say that I would have the patience or the courage to do so, and examples like the one in this story is one reason why.

African-American actress Danièle Watts claims she was "handcuffed and detained" by police officers from the Los Angeles Police Department at CBS's Studio City production facility on Thursday after allegedly being mistaken for a prostitute.

According to accounts by Watts and her husband Brian James Lucas, two police officers mistook the couple for a prostitute and client when they were seen showing affection in public. When the officers asked Watts to produce a photo ID when questioned, she refused. Watts was subsequently handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser while the officers attempted to figure out who she was. The two officers released Watts shortly thereafter.

Watts says that she had accompanied a friend to a diversity showcase before meeting Lucas at his car. "I sat on his lap in the front seat of the car and we start making out," she told BuzzFeed. A man from a nearby office came out and asked the couple to “stop putting on a show.” The police arrived shortly thereafter.

Watts, who played CoCo in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and currently stars in Martin Lawrence vehicle Partners, posted an account of the incident on her Facebook page:

"As I was sitting in the back of the police car, I remembered the countless times my father came home frustrated or humiliated by the cops when he had done nothing wrong," wrote Watts. "I felt his shame, his anger, and my own feelings of frustration for existing in a world where I have allowed myself to believe that “authority figures” could control my BEING… my ability to BE!!!!!!!"

Watt's husband Brian Lucas, who is white, claimed that the two were targeted by police for being an interracial couple and, while police didn't explicit ask Watts if she was a prostitute, asked questions laden with innuendo. In a separate post on his Facebook page, Lucas said that "from the questions that [police] asked me as D was already on her phone with her dad, I could tell that whoever called on us (including the officers), saw a tatted RAWKer white boy and a hot bootie shorted black girl and thought we were a HO (prostitute) & a TRICK (client)."

An Los Angeles Police Department public information officer told variety that "there was no record of the incident as Watts wasn’t arrested or brought into the station for questioning."

Sadly, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. In 2008, a Galveston, Texas couple sued three police officers who arrested and beat their 12-year-old daughter after mistaking her for a prostitute. And at the 2011 Netroots Nation convention in Minneapolis, Minn., Cheryl Contee of Jack and Jill Politics asked a panel of African-American women to raise their hands if they had ever been mistaken for a prostitute. Everyone’s hands went up.

Just When You Thought You Heard It All News (9-13-2014)

GINGER'S!!!!

The redheads are coming! The redheads are coming!

On Sept. 5, more than 5,000 red-haired folks gathered in Breda, Netherlands, for the  ninth annual Redhead Days festival.

The reason why? Nobody knows!

The three-day gathering, known as "Roodharigendag" in Dutch, invites people from all over the world to celebrate their locks and participate inevents like photo shoots, lectureson the history of red hair and art exhibitions.

There was even some speed dating........

"Normally, there's no possible way for me to get lost in a crowd, and so it's kind of a special feeling," said Tom Snyder, an American who attended the festival. "It's very unique."

Only about two percent of the world's population carry the recessive gene associated with red hairScientists have even speculated that redheads could be extinct in the next 100 years. So I hope this whole speed dating thing works out.

The only clever people who are actually stupid are criminals. Because most of them think that they've figured out smart ways to get over. But in all reality they never do.......

In Plattsburgh, NY State police say they've arrested a 22-year-old New York man after he was found with marijuana, cocaine and LSD hidden inside a stuffed animal dressed in an anti-drug T-shirt.

Troopers say Gregory Bolongnese of Plattsburgh, was arrested at the bus station in his hometown near the Canadian border. They say they found two grams of pot, about a half-gram of cocaine and LSD inside a stuffed lion doll wearing a D.A.R.E. shirt.

Ironically D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, a program that aims to educate young people about staying away from drugs, gangs and violence.

Bolognese was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, and not being anywhere near as bright as he thought he was.

PEOPLE! Stop pretending to be somebody you're not on social media. There is always someone out there who knows who or what you really are. For instance, if you are a convicted felon, don't pretend that you can do whatever a non convicted felon can do.. That's not who you are. The whole world is on Twitter! Yes, the police too.

In a photo he posted on Twitter, Kwmaine Davis had a big smile on his face as he held one gun in each hand at a shooting range. This idiots message to his followers: "Yes, I'm really bout that action."

What Davis didn't know is that one of his followers was a Boston police officer who is also "bout that action."

As a convicted felon, Davis isn't allowed to possess guns, even if he's only shooting them at a firing range. A federal judge sentenced him to 18 months in prison for doing just that.

After seeing two firing range photos Davis posted on Twitter, Boston police notified federal authorities. Police were concerned that Davis, a known member of a violent Boston gang, had gone to the firing range to perfect his shooting skills. He already had been shot twice himself and convicted once before for illegal possession of a gun.

When confronted by police with the Twitter photos, Davis agreed to plead guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He was sentenced to prison after saying he accepted responsibility for his actions and wanted to turn his life around. Davis, 23, told U.S. District Judge Denise Casper that he plans to go to counseling, return to school and find a job after his release.
